This is a handcrafted flower vase made by Kōshū, an artisan of Shigaraki ware.

Formed from brown clay and finished with an ash glaze,
the piece features a pale green glaze with varying tones and fine crackles,
giving it a refined, wabi-sabi aesthetic.

The glaze is applied only to the upper half,
allowing the natural texture of the unglazed clay in the lower half to be appreciated.

A twisted handle is attached to the top of the vase,
serving as a distinctive design feature.

The square-shaped body is chamfered roughly at each corner,
creating a soft and approachable impression.
