山本貞斎 作　莨盆（たばこぼん）一燈好写　つぼつぼ透かし

山本貞斎 作の木製の莨盆（たばこぼん）のご紹介です。

莨盆とは、本来は昔からある莨（たばこ）を吸うための道具を

入れておいて、そのまま使うための深さのあるお盆です。

円形、長角、楕円形など様々な形があります。

茶道では正式なものが使われ、中に火入れ、灰吹き、煙草入れ、キセルなど

一式を入れて、待合や薄茶席に置かれます。

茶席で正客の位置を示すものとしても、認識されています。

この莨盆は裏千家の一燈好写で、本体は桐木地で作られており

両側につぼつぼの透かしが施してあります。

つぼつぼの透かしは配置も数も異なり、片側にそれぞれ５個と６個があり

その配置もバランスが取られています。

手は丸い籐を二本、丸く曲げ中央の一番高い部分で交差しており

美しい曲線が作られています。

自然の素材そのものを活かした、ナチュラルな雰囲気が特徴の莨盆と言えます。

Tobacco Tray (Tabakobon) by Yamamoto Teisai – Ittō-Preferred Style with Tsubotsubo Openwork

This is a wooden tabakobon (tobacco tray) crafted by Yamamoto Teisai.

A tabakobon is traditionally a deep tray designed to hold implements for smoking tobacco (tabako) so they can be used directly from it.
They come in a variety of shapes, including round, rectangular, and oval.

In the practice of tea ceremony, a formal type of tabakobon is used, holding a complete set of utensils such as a fire container (hi-ire), ash receptacle (haifuki), tobacco pouch (tabako-ire), and a smoking pipe (kiseru).
It is placed in the machiai (waiting area) or a light-tea serving space (usuchaseki) and is also recognized as an item indicating the position of the principal guest.

This piece is in the Ittō-preferred style of the Urasenke school.
The body is made from untreated paulownia wood (kiri-kiji) and features tsubotsubo (small round) openwork on both sides.
The placement and number of these openings differ on each side—five on one side and six on the other—arranged in a well-balanced composition.

The handle consists of two round rattan rods, bent into arcs and crossing at the highest central point, forming elegant curves.

It is a tabakobon that highlights the natural beauty of its materials, exuding a warm and organic character.

山本贞斋 作 莨盆（一灯好写）壶壶镂空

这是一款由山本贞斋制作的木制莨盆（烟盆）。

莨盆，原本是用来放置传统吸莨（烟草）所需用具，并可直接取用的深形托盆。

其形状多样，有圆形、长方形、椭圆形等。

在茶道中会使用正式的莨盆，内部放置火炉、掸灰器、烟草盒、烟管等一整套用具，摆放于待合或薄茶席中。

莨盆在茶席中还被视为指示正客（首席客人）座位的位置之物。

此莨盆为裏千家的一灯好写，本体采用桐木地制作，双侧设有“壶壶”镂空装饰。

壶壶镂空的数量与位置各不相同，一侧为5个，另一侧为6个，并在布局上保持了平衡感。

提手由两根圆形藤材弯曲成环，在中央最高处交叉，形成优美的曲线。

这是一件充分体现自然材质本色，散发自然气息的莨盆。
