萩焼　白釉　耳付　手づくり　花入

萩焼から白釉の手づくり花入のご紹介です。

萩焼特有の赤茶色の土をろくろ成形し

白い釉薬を掛けられて作られています。

全体が細長くある程度の高さがあるので

スマートな造形となっています。

最下部が太く上へ行くほど少しずつ細く

なっていく安定した形をしています。

胴にはろくろ目が残され、正面には釉薬の

垂れと削ぎがあり凹みがあります。

上部には小さな耳があり細かい細工が

なされています。

口は丸みを帯びピンホールが見られ、

締まっているので花が広がらず活けやすい

形といえます。

上部の白釉以外はうっすらと赤みを

帯びており、土ものの温かみを感じることが

出来ます。

ベースが白なので、ほとんどの花を

引き立てることが出来、汎用性が高い花器と

いえます。
