萩焼から白釉の手づくり急須のご紹介です。

萩焼特有の小石の混じった赤茶土を

ろくろ挽きで作られており、外側にも

内側にもろくろ目が見られます。

蓋の径が大きいので内側を洗いやすく、

茶葉も捨てやすいので扱いやすいと

思われます。

注ぎ口が出っ張っておりその内側に小さな

穴がたくさん空けられており金網が不要な

タイプです。

外側には全体に白い釉薬が掛けられており、

高台の付近は下地の茶色でツートンになって

おり、土の粗さが確認できます。

蓋の摘みが丸型でつまみやすく、手づくりの

味わいを感じさせてくれます。

横手の持ち手は楕円形になっており、

持ちやすく親指で蓋を押さえて片手でも

注ぐことが出来ます。

土物の温かみ、やわらかさを感じて頂ける

Hagi-yaki White Glazed Handmade Teapot (400cc)

The side handle is oval-shaped for a comfortable hold, allowing you to press down the lid with your thumb and pour with one hand.
