萩焼から白釉の組湯呑のご紹介です。

こげ茶色の小石が混じった粗めの土を

ろくろ成形し白い釉薬を掛けて

作られています。

内外にろくろ目が残され持つと手に

しっくりと馴染みます。

正面にはえくぼが作られ、親指を置く場所が

あり持ちやすくなっています。

形はほぼ寸胴型で口は若干外側に反った

羽反り型で飲みやすくなっています。

高台は萩特有の切高台となっており、特徴と

なっています。

高台の付近は釉薬の上からでも土の風合いが

見られ、荒々しく力強い雰囲気と

なっています。

使い込んで頂くと「萩の七変化」を楽しんで

頂けます。

白釉はお茶の色がきれいに見え、その風合い

からお茶を美味しく楽しんで頂ける

湯呑といえます。

Hagi Ware White Glaze Ekubo Handmade Tea Cups (Pair)

We are pleased to introduce a pair of handmade tea cups with white glaze from Hagi Ware.

Made from coarse clay mixed with dark brown stones, these tea cups are shaped on the potter’s wheel and then glazed with a white finish.

Both the inside and outside retain the marks of the wheel, which makes them feel natural and comfortable in the hand.

A small indentation, known as "ekubo" (dimple), is formed on the front, providing a place for your thumb, making the cups easy to hold.

The shape is almost cylindrical, with the rim gently curving outward in a feathered rim design, which makes it more comfortable to drink from.

The foot is a characteristic "cut foot" (kire-daka), typical of Hagi Ware, adding a distinctive feature to the cups.

Near the foot, the texture of the clay can be seen through the glaze, giving the cups a rough yet strong, earthy atmosphere.

With regular use, you will be able to enjoy the "Seven Changes of Hagi," as the glaze subtly evolves over time.

The white glaze allows the color of the tea to appear beautifully, and the overall texture of the cup enhances the enjoyment of drinking tea.

萩烧 白釉 凹痕 组合茶杯

这是一款来自萩烧的白釉组合茶杯。

茶杯采用混有深棕色小石子的粗糙土壤，经过陶轮成型，再涂上白色釉药制作而成。

内外表面保留了陶轮的痕迹，手持时能够与手掌自然贴合，十分舒适。

正面有一个凹痕设计，提供了一个适合放置拇指的位置，使得握持更加方便。

茶杯的形状接近圆筒形，杯口稍微向外翻展，采用羽反口设计，饮用时更加顺畅。

杯底是萩烧特有的切高台设计，成为其一大特色。

在杯底附近，即使涂有釉药，仍能看到土质的自然纹理，呈现出粗犷而有力的质感。
