常滑焼から手づくり急須のご紹介です。

黒泥をろくろ成形し無釉で焼き締めて

作られています。

黒泥のみで黒一色のマット調・艶消しで

シンプルなデザインです。

薄手に挽かれているので軽量で扱いやすい

急須です。

胴は丸みを帯び、うっすらとろくろ挽きの

跡が見られます。

口径は広めで茶葉を入れやすく捨てやすく、

洗いやすくなっています。

内側注ぎ口部分には陶器製の細かい網が

付けられ金網が必要ない高級仕様の急須と

なっています。

色を使わず全くの無地なので飽きが来にくく

永く使えそうです。

職人さんの高い技術と多くの手間が注がれ、

さらに機能的な実用性を考えて作られた

急須といえます。

Tokoname-yaki Black Clay Handmade Lightweight Teapot (220cc)

This is a handmade teapot from Tokoname-yaki.

It is crafted by wheel-throwing black clay and firing it without glaze.

The teapot is a simple design with a matte, non-glossy finish in a single shade of black.

Because it is thinly made, it is lightweight and easy to handle.

The body is rounded, with faint traces of the wheel-throwing technique visible.

The spout has a wide opening, making it easy to add and dispose of tea leaves, as well as to clean.

Inside the spout, there is a fine ceramic mesh, eliminating the need for a metal strainer, which gives the teapot a high-end finish.

With its plain, uncolored surface, it is less likely to become outdated and can be used for a long time.

Made with the artisan's high skill and considerable effort, this teapot is also designed with practicality and functionality in mind.
