清水焼　撫子　手づくり　抹茶碗

清水焼から撫子の抹茶碗のご紹介です。

白土をろくろ成形した生地に撫子の花が

手描きされています。

貫入の入ったクリーム色の生地に赤や黄色の

花と茎の緑が映え、彩豊かな抹茶碗に

仕上がっています。

天目茶碗のように口のすぐ下がくびれ

羽反り口となっており飲みやすい形状と

なっています。

少し小ぶりで手にすっぽりとおさまる、

扱いやすいサイズです。

撫子は初秋の季語で、野山では６月から

９月に自生する花です。

大和撫子と言われるように、日本女性の

可憐さを表現する、かわいらしい花を
