佐々木昭楽 作の青楽の風炉用の灰器の

ご紹介です。

灰器とは茶道の炭点前の際に灰を入れて

持ち出す器です。

風炉用には釉薬が掛かった小ぶりのものを

使い、炉用には素焼きの大ぶりのものを

使います。

楽焼は茶の湯の盛行に伴い出現した、

我が国独自の産物で質・形・色などその他の

特徴は、すべて茶の湯の精神に

合致しています。

楽焼は、京都の雅陶で手ごねの軟陶の総称で

火度の低い陶器の一種で、楽家初代の

長次郎に千利休が指導して作らせたと

いわれています。

丸みを帯びた生地に横方向の筋が無数に

入れられ釉薬が掛けられ、美しい濃い緑色に

仕上がっています。

口の部分にはより深い溝が波打つように

入れられており特徴となっています。

斜めに更に深く幅広い筋が三本、五本、

七本と三方面に入れられ、金色で加色されて

おり、とても映えています。

側面は丸みを帯び上部は内側に

少し入っています。

外側底面も丸みがありますが、どっしりと

安定ししています。

内側の底面はほぼ平らで、昭楽の押印が

見られます。

底面が広く平らな形をしており、使いやすい

灰器といえます。

Ash Container (Haiki) for Furo, by Sasaki Shōraku – Aoraku (Green Raku Ware)

This is a green Raku ash container (haiki) for use with the furo (portable brazier), crafted by Sasaki Shōraku.

In the tea ceremony, a haiki is a vessel used during the charcoal procedure (sumidemae) to carry and present ash.

For furo, smaller haiki with a glazed finish are typically used, while larger, unglazed versions are used for ro (sunken hearth).

Raku ware is a uniquely Japanese ceramic tradition that emerged alongside the flourishing of the tea ceremony.
Its qualities—such as texture, form, and color—are deeply aligned with the aesthetics and spirit of chanoyu (the Way of Tea).

Raku ware refers to hand-shaped, low-fired earthenware from Kyoto, collectively known as ga-tō (elegant Kyoto ceramics).
It is said that the first-generation Raku master Chōjirō crafted the earliest Raku wares under the guidance of Sen no Rikyū.

This haiki features a rounded body with countless horizontal striations applied across the surface, then covered in glaze, resulting in a rich, deep green finish.

Around the rim, a distinctive wavy groove pattern adds character and visual interest.

Additionally, on three sides of the vessel, groups of three, five, and seven broad diagonal grooves are carved, each accented with gold coloring, creating a striking decorative effect.

The side profile of the vessel is gently rounded, with the upper portion subtly curving inward.

The outer base is also rounded, yet the piece rests firmly and stably.

The interior base is mostly flat, and features the pressed seal (hanko) of Shōraku.

With its wide, flat bottom, this haiki is not only visually appealing but also highly functional and easy to use.

为您介绍一件由佐佐木昭乐先生所制的、用于风炉的青乐釉灰器。

所谓灰器，是在茶道的炭点前中，用于盛装灰并携带出席的器皿。

用于风炉的灰器多为施釉的小巧型器皿，而用于炉的灰器则多为不上釉的素烧大器。

乐烧是在日本茶之汤盛行的背景下诞生的一种独特陶艺形式，其质地、形状、色彩以及其他种种特征，均契合茶之汤的精神与审美。

乐烧是京都所产的典雅陶器，属于手工捏制的软陶类低温陶器。据说乐烧的创始人——乐家初代长次郎，就是在千利休的指导下开始制作这种陶器的。

本件作品以柔和圆润的陶胎为基础，表面施以横向细纹，并均匀施釉，最终呈现出一种美丽浓郁的绿色釉色。

口沿部分有波浪状的深槽装饰，成为器物的一大特征。

侧壁三面上分别刻有三道、五道、七道斜向加深且较宽的筋纹，并以金色施彩点缀，极具视觉美感。

器身整体呈圆润状，顶部略微内收，外底亦呈柔和弧形，但器形稳定、沉稳厚重，放置平稳。

器内底部几乎是平坦的，可见“昭乐”落款印记。

此器底面开阔、平整，作为风炉用灰器来说，极为实用方便。
