清水焼から尚音 作のうさぎの抹茶碗の

ご紹介です。

白土をろくろ成形し黒い釉薬を掛けその上に

月と白いうさぎが茶碗の外側には６羽、

内側に１羽描かれています。

両横には、すすきが生えており「十五夜」を

連想させる、秋にぴったりの抹茶碗です。

外側にいるうさぎは、並んで「中秋の名月」

を眺めているようです。

その中の２羽はこちらに気が付き、

振り向いてこちらを見ています。

茶碗の内側のうさぎは元気に

飛び跳ねています。

うさぎは小さく描かれていますが、その

表情がよく分かり、ユーモラスでとても

かわいい画となっています。

お月見をしながら、抹茶を一服と秋の茶事や

Kiyomizu Ware – Matcha Bowl with Rabbit Motif by Naone, Black Glaze

This is a matcha bowl by Naone, crafted in Kiyomizu ware, featuring a rabbit design.

The piece is wheel-thrown from white clay, coated with a black glaze, and decorated with motifs of the moon and white rabbits. Six rabbits are depicted on the outer surface of the bowl, and one on the inner surface.

On both sides, pampas grass is painted, evoking the image of the Jūgoya (the night of the harvest moon), making it an ideal matcha bowl for autumn. The rabbits on the outside appear to be lined up, gazing at the full moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Among them, two rabbits turn their heads as if noticing the viewer.

The rabbit inside the bowl is depicted lively and playful, as though leaping about. Although the rabbits are drawn small, their expressions are clearly conveyed, full of humor and charm.
