美濃焼　林亮次の荘山窯より志野の抹茶碗の

ご紹介です。

美濃焼の代表的な焼き物の一つに

志野焼があります。

他の産地には見られない焼物の一つです。

志野焼といえば、林亮次氏の荘山窯が

有名です。

志野にも様々な種類がありますが、

この抹茶碗は「朱志野」といって

赤志野よりも薄く、紅志野よりも濃く、

赤と紅の中間の色合いとなっており

あまり見られない大変珍しい志野に

仕上げられています。

薄い赤茶色で色の濃淡もよく見られ、

焼物の味わいを存分に感じられる風合いと

なっています。

全体に志野特有のピンホールが無数に見られ

所々に白い釉薬の流れと複雑な窯変が見所に

なっています。

釉薬を掛ける時の作家の指跡が見られ、

景色の一つとなっています。

外側にはろくろ目がうっすら見られ、

縦方向の削ぎが随所にあります。

これらの凹凸が手にしっくりときて、

持ちやすくなっています。

形は寸胴型の切立で深さがあり、

手におさまるちょうどいいサイズで

力強いものとなっています。

味わい深い「朱志野」は希少価値のある

逸品といえます。

Mino Ware – Shu Shino Matcha Bowl by Hayashi Ryoji, Shōzan Kiln

We are pleased to introduce a Shino matcha bowl from the Shōzan Kiln of Hayashi Ryoji, a renowned potter of Mino ware.

Among the representative styles of Mino ware is Shino-yaki, a type of pottery not found in other regions. When it comes to Shino ware, the Shōzan Kiln of Hayashi Ryoji is especially well known.

There are many varieties of Shino, but this particular matcha bowl is called Shu Shino (Vermilion Shino). Its color tone lies between Aka Shino (Red Shino) and Beni Shino (Crimson Shino)—lighter than the former and deeper than the latter—resulting in a rare and distinctive hue not often seen.

The surface displays a soft reddish-brown tone with subtle variations in shading, allowing one to fully appreciate the depth and character of the ware. Countless pinholes characteristic of Shino glaze are visible throughout, complemented by flowing streams of white glaze and complex kiln effects that serve as highlights.

Finger marks left by the artist during glazing are visible and become part of the bowl’s “landscape.” On the outer surface, faint potter’s wheel marks can be seen along with vertical trimming lines in places. These irregularities fit comfortably in the hand, enhancing ease of use.

The form is a straight-walled, cylindrical type (zun-dō gata) with considerable depth, well-sized to fit naturally in the hand while conveying a sense of strength.

This richly expressive Shu Shino matcha bowl is a rare and highly valuable piece.

美浓烧的代表性作品之一就是志野烧，
这是在其他产地都难以见到的一种独特烧物。

说到志野烧，就不得不提林亮次先生的庄山窑，极负盛名。

志野烧种类多样，这只抹茶碗称为“朱志野”，
其色泽介于赤志野与红志野之间，比赤志野更浅，比红志野更深，
呈现出赤与红之间的中间色调，十分少见，极为珍贵。

整体为淡赤茶色，色彩的浓淡变化分明，
充分展现出陶器独有的韵味。

碗身遍布志野特有的无数小针孔，
局部可见白色釉药的流动与复杂的窑变，极具看点。

釉药施挂时留下了作者的指痕，也成为景色之一。

外壁隐约可见拉坯时的旋纹，
并辅以纵向削痕，使碗体更具层次感。

这些凹凸感与手掌贴合，拿捏舒适。

造型为直筒状切立式，器形较深，
尺寸恰好贴合手掌，气势厚重而有力。

这只充满韵味的“朱志野”抹茶碗，
堪称兼具稀有性与收藏价值的逸品。
