ご紹介です。

美濃焼の代表的な焼き物の一つに

志野焼があります。

他の産地には見られない焼物の一つです。

志野焼といえば、林亮次氏の荘山窯が

有名です。

志野にも様々な種類がありますが、

この抹茶碗は「朱志野」といって

赤志野よりも薄く、紅志野よりも濃く、

赤と紅の中間の色合いとなっており

あまり見られない大変珍しい志野に

仕上げられています。

薄い赤茶色で色の濃淡もよく見られ、

焼物の味わいを存分に感じられる風合いと

なっています。

全体に志野特有のピンホールが無数に見られ

所々に白い釉薬の流れと複雑な窯変が見所に

なっています。

釉薬を掛ける時の作家の指跡が見られ、

景色の一つとなっています。

ろくろ目がうっすら見られ、

縦方向の削ぎが随所にあります。

これらの凹凸が手にしっくりときて、

持ちやすくなっています。

形は寸胴型の切立で深さがあり、

手におさまるちょうどいいサイズで

力強いものとなっています。

味わい深い「朱志野」は希少価値のある

逸品といえます。

Mino Ware – Ryōji Hayashi – Shōzan Kiln – Vermilion Shino Matcha Bowl

We are pleased to introduce a Shino-style matcha bowl from the Shōzan Kiln of Ryōji Hayashi, a renowned craftsman of Mino ware.

Among the many distinguished types of Mino ware, Shino-yaki holds a special place as one of its most iconic styles—one rarely seen in other pottery regions of Japan. When it comes to Shino ware, the Shōzan Kiln of Ryōji Hayashi is particularly famous.

There are various types of Shino ware, but this tea bowl is known as “Vermilion Shino” (Aka-Shino). Its color tone lies between Red Shino and Crimson Shino—lighter than the former and deeper than the latter—creating a rare and exquisite hue that is seldom encountered.

The soft reddish-brown color exhibits beautiful variations in shade, enhancing the natural warmth and character unique to handmade pottery. The surface displays countless pinholes characteristic of Shino glaze, while flowing white glaze and complex kiln effects add depth and visual interest.

You can see the artist’s finger marks left during glazing, which form part of the piece’s “scenery.” Subtle traces of the potter’s wheel remain, and vertical trimming marks are visible throughout, creating a pleasant texture that fits comfortably in the hand.

The bowl has a cylindrical form with a straight rim and moderate depth—an ideal size that rests naturally in the palms, combining both balance and strength.

This Vermilion Shino matcha bowl is a truly remarkable and highly valuable example of refined Mino craftsmanship.

在美浓烧的代表作中，志野烧是一种极具特色的陶器，
其风格在其他产地中几乎无法见到。

谈到志野烧，人们自然会想到林亮次先生的庄山窑。
志野烧有多种类型，而这只抹茶碗属于其中的“朱志野”。
其色调介于“赤志野”的淡红与“红志野”的深红之间，
呈现出红与朱之间微妙平衡的色泽，
是十分罕见、极具珍贵价值的志野作品。

整体呈淡红茶色，色调的深浅变化丰富，
能充分体现陶艺作品独有的韵味与质感。
全器表面可见无数志野特有的针孔，
釉药在局部流动形成白色痕迹，
并伴随着复杂多变的窑变景致，令人赏心悦目。

施釉时作者手指的痕迹亦清晰可见，
成为作品景色之一。
可见淡淡的拉坯纹理，
并在器身各处留有纵向削痕。
这些凹凸使器物贴合手感，握持舒适自然。
