ご紹介です。
杉の一枚板の柾目を使用して
作られています。
茶道で使われる、掛け花入を掛けたり、
短冊や飾り扇なども掛けられる、
万能な道具です。
琵琶の垂撥（すいはつ）に似ているからの
名称で杉や竹、桐などで作られていることが
多い。
中央に長細い溝穴があけられ、掛け釘が
上下に自在に動かせ位置を変えることが
できます。
その溝に別売りの金具を付ければ、短冊や
飾り扇を飾ることができます。
花や書を飾るスペースがない時に
大活躍します。
野点（外で行う茶）など壁も柱も場所もない
場合、野点傘にも付けることが出来ます。
一般のご家庭でも、玄関先や柱などの
ちょっとしたスペースがあれば、その時々の
花を生け、その折々の禅語などが書かれた
短冊や飾り扇を飾って季節の風情を
楽しんで頂けます。
四季のある日本だからこそ、ちょっとした

杉木地 掛花釘付
This is an introduction to a Japanese-made Suihatsu crafted from cedar, measuring 90 cm in length, and equipped with a hook nail for hanging flower vases.
It is made using straight-grain (masame) boards cut from a single solid piece of cedar.
In the tea ceremony, it is a versatile tool that can be used to hang wall-mounted flower vases, as well as tanzaku calligraphy cards or decorative fans.
The name “suihatsu” comes from its resemblance to the suihatsu (plectrum) of a biwa lute, and it is most commonly made from materials such as cedar, bamboo, or paulownia.
A long, narrow vertical slot is carved in the center, allowing the hanging hook nail to move freely up and down so that its position can be adjusted as needed.
By attaching a separately sold metal fitting to this slot, tanzaku or decorative fans can also be displayed.
It is especially useful when there is limited space for displaying flowers or calligraphy.
For nodate (outdoor tea gatherings), where there may be no walls or pillars, it can even be attached to a nodate umbrella.
In ordinary households as well, if there is even a small space such as an entryway or a pillar, you can arrange seasonal flowers and display tanzaku bearing Zen sayings or decorative fans, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of the season.
Perhaps it is a tool that was born from Japan’s four distinct seasons, enabling people to feel the changing seasons even in a very small space.
