清水焼から蓋付湯呑・大小ペアのご紹介です。

日常普段に使える縦長の湯呑に蓋が付いた組湯呑です。

蓋が付いていると、ホコリなどが入らず衛生的で

温かいお茶は冷めにくく、冷たいお茶はぬるくなりにくい利点があります。

また、見た目もちょっと格好が良く、例えばティーパックでお茶を入れる場合は

蓋が抽出した後のティーパックを置く場所にもなり、大変便利です。

白地の部分と絵付けがされている部分とが、はっきりしていて

すっきりとしたデザインとなっています。

湯呑本体の縦に入った削ぎと、蓋に入った中心から放射状に入った削ぎが

無地の部分のアクセントとなっており、持った時に指が掛かって

持ちやすくもなっています。

また摘みの形状は根元から上に行くほど径が大きくなっており

ちょっとしたことですが、持ちやすく落としにくく工夫がされています。

柄は渦紋の上に桜と紅葉が描かれていて、水の上に浮かぶ桜の花と

紅葉のような印象を受けます。

とても細かく手描きされているので、無地の部分とのコントラストがあり

お互いを引き立て合っています。

小さい方は赤絵、大きい方は染付で女性用と男性用とこちらもバランスが取られています。

品名の「雲錦」とは、桜の花と紅葉を配した文様のことで、花の雲、錦の紅葉の意から

このように呼ばれています。

陶磁器だけでなく、漆工芸にもよく使われる柄で、春でも秋でも使えることから

季節を問わず、一年中使える柄ということになっています。

また、桜も紅葉も日本の四季の中で、最も美しい自然の植物が

描かれているということも言えます。

Kiyomizu Ware – Unkin (Clouds & Brocade) Swirl-Pattern Lidded Yunomi (Pair)

Introducing a pair of lidded yunomi teacups in large and small sizes from Kiyomizu ware.

These vertically elongated yunomi are designed for everyday use and fitted with lids. Lids help keep out dust for hygienic use, keep hot tea from cooling quickly, and keep cold tea from warming too soon.

They also have a stylish presence, and when brewing tea with teabags, the lid conveniently serves as a rest for the teabag after steeping.

The contrast between the unpainted white ground and the decorated areas creates a clean and refreshing design.

Vertical facets carved into the body, along with radial facets carved from the center outward on the lid, accent the undecorated surfaces and provide a functional grip when holding the cup.

The knop (lid knob) is shaped so that its diameter gradually increases toward the top—subtle but effective in making it easy to grasp and less likely to slip from the fingers.

The decoration consists of cherry blossoms and maple leaves set over swirling motifs, evoking blossoms and maple leaves floating upon water. Finely executed hand-painting provides contrast against the plain ground, and both elements enhance one another.

The smaller cup is painted in aka-e (red enamels) and the larger in sometsuke (underglaze blue), balancing the pair as a woman’s and man’s cup respectively.

The term Unkin (“clouds and brocade”) refers to a motif combining cherry blossoms and maple leaves—“clouds of blossoms, brocade of maples”—a pattern used not only in ceramics but also in lacquerware. Because both motifs evoke spring and autumn, the design is considered seasonless and can be used year-round.

Cherry blossoms and maple leaves may also be seen as representing two of the most beautiful expressions of Japan’s four seasons.

Suitable for daily use at home, they also make thoughtful gifts for weddings, silver or golden anniversaries, or commemorative occasions.

清水烧　云锦　涡纹　带盖成对茶杯（情侣对杯）

这是一对来自清水烧的带盖茶杯，大小成对套装。

属于日常可使用的细长型茶杯，并配有盖子。盖子可防止灰尘进入，更加卫生；热茶不易冷却，冷茶也不易变温。

外观也显得更加讲究，例如以茶包冲茶时，盖子还能作为浸泡后茶包的放置处，非常方便。

白釉素地与彩绘部分的对比鲜明，形成干净利落的设计。

杯身具有纵向刻削纹，盖子则自中心向外呈放射状刻削纹，这些无彩部分成为装饰亮点；握持时可让手指卡住，更加顺手。

摘钮的造型自根部向上逐渐增大，看似细微，却让抓取更方便，不易滑落。

纹样为涡纹之上绘以樱花与红叶，仿佛樱花与红叶漂浮于水面之上。因采用细致的手绘表现，与素地形成鲜明对比，互相衬托。
