清水焼から青交趾の雲錦（うんきん）香炉のご紹介です。

香炉の実際のベースの色は緑色なので、普通は緑交趾と呼びそうですが

京都の焼物はなぜか以前から「青交趾」と呼んでいます。

その上に「一珍」（いっちん）の技法を使って、「雲錦」の柄が描かれています。

「雲錦」とは、文様の一種で、桜の花と紅葉を配した柄のことです。

花の雲、紅葉の錦の意から「雲錦」と称し、春でも秋でも一年中使うことができます。

「一珍」とはチューブ状の袋の中に泥釉を入れ、それを押し出して

線の文様を描くもので、高く盛った線が特徴となっています。

一珍は凹凸が柄の輪郭と立体的になっており、触っただけでも分かる技法です。

その一珍の内側に様々な色を塗って、きれいな柄を表現しています。

桜の花と紅葉にはとても多くの色が使われていて、とてもきれいです。

白、ピンク、黄、青、オレンジ、黄緑など実に多くの色が使われており

何度も焼いて色付けをしなければならず、大変な手間と技術が必要と思われます。

また、香を焚く時に、香炉の内部が酸欠にならないように

蓋に、花びらの形の透かし穴が二つ作られており、それも渕が青と黄色に塗られていて

とても洒落たデザインとなっています。

形は本体も、蓋も四角く脚が４つ付いており、あまりない形かもしれません。

また。４面とも異なる柄なので、正面を変えて頂ければ

４通りの使い方が可能です。

実際に灰を入れ、香も焚ける香炉ですが、実際に使うと特に内側の蓋裏は

香や炭のすすなどで、どうしても汚れてきてしまうので、

とてもきれいな香炉なので、あえて飾り香炉としてお使い頂くのもありです。

This is an introduction to a kōro (incense burner) in Ao-Kōchi ware with an Unkin (Cherry Blossoms and Autumn Leaves) design, made in Kiyomizu-yaki, featuring the icchin technique and an openwork lid.

Although the actual base color of the incense burner is green and would ordinarily be called Midori-Kōchi, Kyoto ceramics have traditionally referred to this type as Ao-Kōchi for reasons dating back to the past.

Over this base, the Unkin motif is rendered using the icchin technique.

Unkin is a type of decorative pattern that combines cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. From the meanings “clouds of blossoms” and “brocade of autumn leaves,” it is called Unkin, and it can be used throughout the year, in both spring and autumn.

Icchin is a technique in which slip glaze is placed into a tube-like bag and squeezed out to draw linear patterns. Its defining feature is the raised lines built up in relief.

Because the icchin technique creates a textured, three-dimensional outline to the design, it is recognizable even by touch.

Various colors are then applied within the raised icchin outlines to create the beautiful patterns.

An especially large number of colors are used for the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, resulting in a very vivid appearance. White, pink, yellow, blue, orange, and yellow-green—truly a wide range of colors—is employed.

Each color must be applied and fired repeatedly, requiring an exceptional amount of time and a high level of technical skill.

In addition, to prevent oxygen deprivation inside the incense burner when incense is burned, two petal-shaped openwork holes are made in the lid. Their rims are also painted in blue and yellow, creating a very refined and stylish design.

Both the body and the lid are square in form and supported by four feet, a shape that may be relatively uncommon.

Furthermore, because each of the four sides bears a different design, by changing the front, the incense burner can be enjoyed in four different ways.

While this is a fully functional incense burner that can actually be used with ash and incense, regular use will inevitably cause the interior—especially the underside of the lid—to become soiled with incense residue and soot from charcoal.

Because it is such a beautifully crafted piece, it is also perfectly suitable to be used deliberately as a decorative incense burner.

这是来自清水烧的青交趾「云锦」香炉的介绍。

香炉实际的底色为绿色，
按常理本应称为“绿交趾”，
但京都的陶瓷自古以来不知为何一直称其为“青交趾”。

其上运用“一珍”技法描绘了“云锦”纹样。

所谓“云锦”，
是一种纹样名称，
指将樱花与红叶相互组合的图案。
取“花如云、红叶如锦”之意而得名“云锦”，
无论春秋四季，全年皆可使用。

“一珍”技法是将泥釉装入管状袋中，
挤出描绘线条纹样，
其特点是线条高高隆起。

一珍技法所形成的凹凸线条
使纹样轮廓立体分明，
仅凭触摸即可辨识。

在这些一珍线条的内侧
再施以多种色彩，
表现出绚丽细致的图案。

樱花与红叶部分使用了极为丰富的色彩，
呈现出十分华丽的效果。
白色、粉色、黄色、蓝色、橙色、黄绿色等
多种颜色被巧妙运用，
需要反复多次烧成与上色，
可见其制作所需的高超技艺与大量工序。

另外，为防止点香时香炉内部缺氧，
在炉盖上开有两处花瓣形的镂空孔。
其边缘亦施以蓝色与黄色描绘，
设计十分精巧雅致。

造型方面，
无论炉身还是炉盖皆为四方形，
并配有四只脚，
属于较为少见的造型。

此外，四个侧面各绘有不同纹样，
只需变换正面方向，
即可呈现四种不同的观赏与使用方式。

此香炉虽可实际放入香灰并点香使用，
但在实际使用过程中，
尤其是盖子内侧，
难免会因香烟或炭灰而产生污渍。
鉴于其装饰极为精美，
亦可特意作为陈设香炉欣赏使用。
