高岡銅器から　金谷宗林作の唐銅の蓋置のご紹介です。

蓋置とは茶道で使う釜の蓋をのせる道具です。

柄杓を引くのにも用いますが、単に道具というものではなく

茶会のテーマや季節ごとに形や材質、柄などを合わせて使うため、

その種類は膨大なものになります。

小さい道具ではありますが、非常に目立つなくてはならない存在です。

唐銅とは銅と少量の鉛、錫、亜鉛の合金で、茶色を帯びています。

この蓋置は上部の平らな部分は刀の鍔（つば）の形をしており

刀の刃が入る中央の部分が空いています。

そしてそれを支えている三本の脚は、刀剣の形をしているように見えます。

その三つの脚と鍔の裏側は金箔が散らしてあり、唐銅の渋めの色合いの中に

金箔の豪華さが若干加わってバランスが取れています。

太刀や刀剣を題材にした蓋置なので、五月の節句や武将に関わる茶会などには

ぴったりの道具です。

岐阜市では毎年春と秋に、織田信長の祭りの「ぎふ信長まつり」や

斎藤道三の祭りの「ぎふ道三まつり」があり、それに因んだお茶会が

盛大に行われています。

そうした武将などをテーマにしたお茶会には、本当にふさわしい蓋置です。

Here is an introduction to a futaoki made of karakane bronze, crafted by Kanaya Sōrin in the renowned Takaoka bronze tradition.

A futaoki is a tea utensil used in the tea ceremony to rest the lid of the kettle.
It is also used when drawing the ladle (hishaku), and while small in size, it is far more than a simple tool.
Because its shape, material, and design are chosen according to the theme of the gathering and the season, the variety of futaoki is extremely wide.
Despite its modest scale, it is a highly visible and indispensable presence in the tea room.

Karakane is an alloy of copper with small amounts of lead, tin, and zinc, producing a characteristic brown tone.

The top flat surface of this futaoki is shaped like the tsuba (handguard) of a sword, with an open center where the blade would fit.
The three supporting legs resemble sword blades themselves.

On the reverse of the tsuba as well as on the three legs, gold leaf has been applied in scattered form.
The soft, subdued brown of the karakane is accented with a touch of gold, creating a well-balanced and refined contrast.

Because the design is based on the tachi and sword motifs, this futaoki is ideal for Boys’ Festival (Tango no Sekku) in May, or for tea gatherings themed around warriors and samurai culture.

In Gifu City, the Oda Nobunaga Festival (Gifu Nobunaga Matsuri) and the Saitō Dōsan Festival (Gifu Dōsan Matsuri) are held every spring and autumn, accompanied by tea gatherings inspired by these historical warlords.
For such samurai-themed tea events, this futaoki is truly fitting.

向您介绍一款来自高冈铜器、由金谷宗林先生制作的
唐铜盖置。

盖置，是茶道中用于放置釜盖的道具。

虽然也可用于放置柄杓，但它不仅仅是一个工具，
更会根据茶会的主题、季节来选择不同的形状、材质与纹样，
因此种类极为丰富。

虽是小巧的道具，却是茶席上
非常醒目、不可或缺的存在。

“唐铜”是铜加入少量铅、锡、锌的合金，
呈带褐色的色调。

此盖置上部的平面呈刀的镡（护手）形状，
中央为刀刃穿过的位置而留有开口。

支撑上部的三只脚，看起来则仿佛是三把小太刀。

这三只脚与镡的背面均点缀有金箔，
在唐铜沉稳的色调中，添入一丝金箔的华丽，
整体呈现出雅致而平衡的美感。

由于此盖置以太刀、刀剑为主题，
非常适合五月端午节或与武将相关的茶会使用。

在岐阜市，每年春秋都有纪念织田信长的“岐阜信长祭”
以及纪念斋藤道三的“岐阜道三祭”，
并配合这些祭典举办盛大的茶会。

在以武将为主题的茶会中，
此盖置可谓极为相称、恰到好处。
