清水焼から祥瑞（しょんずい）のマグカップ

のご紹介です。

祥瑞とは元々は中国明代末期に

景徳鎮（けいとくちん）窯で焼かれた染付の

器のことですが、現代では同じような作風で

作られた主に染付の器をことを言います。

素地は白く、作りが丁寧、釉薬掛けは均一で

青色の発色が鮮やかです。

現代では、少し捻じった線の中に染付の柄を

描き込んでいくものをいう場合が

多くなっています。

このマグカップは白磁の生地に染付で

手描きされており大変な手間と高い技術が

注がれています。

外側はすき間なくびっしりと描かれており

コスパが高いといえます。

亀甲柄など4種類の柄が捻った感じで描かれ

その他は染付で濃（だみ）の

技法（ぬりつぶし）と、口の部分は内外に

異なる細かい柄が描かれています。

Originally, Shonzui referred to blue-and-white porcelain produced at the Jingdezhen kilns in China during the late Ming dynasty. Today, the term is used for similar blue-and-white porcelain pieces inspired by that style.

In modern interpretations, Shonzui often incorporates twisted or curved lines filled with intricate indigo designs.

This mug is entirely hand-painted on a white porcelain base, requiring exceptional skill and extensive labor. The exterior is densely adorned with patterns, making it highly detailed and a great value for its craftsmanship.

Four different motifs, including the kikkō (tortoiseshell) pattern, are arranged in a twisted layout. Additionally, the dami (shaded fill-in) technique is used for certain areas, while the rim is decorated with distinct fine patterns both inside and out.
