常滑焼の伝統工芸士が作った

「究極の極平型急須」のご紹介です。

常滑焼の代名詞といえる「朱泥」は陶土に

多く含まれる鉄分がお茶の渋みを抑え、

まろやかな味を楽しむことが出来ます。

ほとんどの急須は丸型ですが、お茶の味を

最大限に引き出すために低く平たく作られた

究極の形をした急須です。

この急須は平型の中でも特に平たい

極平型となっています。

径が大きいため茶葉が最大限に、より早く

開いて、広がりも良くなり、よりおいしく

お茶を抽出できる急須です。

湯の量が少なくても、茶葉が広がりやすく

茶葉の味を引き出しやすくなります。

茶葉が早く、より大きく広がるので

「水出し冷茶」にもお使い頂けます。

「水出し冷茶」は水で淹れた煎茶のことで

湯を使わないことでお茶の苦み成分を抑える

ことが出来、甘みや旨みが多い煎茶と

なります。

容量が２００㏄なので、余裕のある

一人用の急須となります。

金網を使うと金気がお茶の味に影響を与える

ので、注ぎ口の内側に陶器製の精巧な

茶こし網が付けられています。

この茶こし網も急須本体も全て手づくり

されており、熟練の職人技を注ぎ込んで

作られています。

口径と全体と底部の径がほぼ同じなので、

急須の内側が洗いやすく乾燥させやすいので

常に清潔さを保つことが出来

とても衛生的です。

蓋と本体の外側表面にはろくろ目のような

筋が横方向にかすかに見られ手間が

掛けられています。

蓋は落ちにくいよう、がたつきなく、

きっちりと重めに作られ注ぎ口は液だれ

しにくい作りとなっています。

極平型ですが全体が丸みを帯びた形をして

おり、やわらかい雰囲気を感じられます。

蓋も平たいので、片手でも親指で蓋を

押さえながらお茶を注ぐことが出来、機能的

でもあります。

細部までよく考えられて作られ飽きの来ない

The Ultimate Extra-Flat Tokoname-yaki Teapot in Shudei Clay – 200ml, with Sen-dan Carving, Crafted by a Certified Traditional Tokoname Artisan

This is the introduction of the "Ultimate Extra-Flat Teapot," handcrafted by a certified traditional craftsman of Tokoname-yaki.

Tokoname-yaki’s signature red clay, known as shudei, is rich in iron content, which helps to mellow the astringency of tea, resulting in a smoother, more rounded flavor.

While most teapots are typically round, this teapot has been designed in an extremely flat and low-profile shape—crafted in pursuit of the ultimate form to maximize the flavor of tea.

Among flat teapots, this one stands out as particularly low—an extra-flat type.

With its wide diameter, tea leaves spread out faster and more fully, allowing for better infusion and enhanced flavor extraction.

Even with a small amount of water, the leaves can unfurl easily, drawing out their full character.

Because the leaves open up quickly and broadly, it is also perfect for making cold-brewed green tea (mizudashi).

Mizudashi is sencha brewed with cold water, which suppresses bitterness and astringency, bringing out more sweetness and umami.

With a capacity of 200ml, it is a comfortably sized teapot ideal for single servings.

To avoid metallic flavor interference from mesh strainers, a finely crafted ceramic strainer is built into the spout—fully integrated into the body of the teapot.

Both the strainer and the teapot itself are entirely handmade, showcasing the skills and dedication of a master craftsman.

The diameter of the mouth, body, and base are nearly identical, making the interior easy to clean and dry—ensuring long-lasting cleanliness and excellent hygiene.

Subtle horizontal wheel-throwing lines (rokuro-me) can be seen on the exterior of both the lid and body, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship involved.

The lid is precisely made with a snug fit and weighted feel, so it stays in place during pouring and doesn’t rattle. The spout is designed to minimize drips.

Although it is an extra-flat shape, the overall form is gently rounded, creating a soft and approachable aesthetic.

Thanks to the flat lid, you can easily hold it in place with your thumb while pouring, making it very functional for one-handed use.

Every detail has been carefully considered, making this an exceptionally refined, timeless piece—truly the "ultimate teapot" that you will cherish and use for years to come.

这是一把由常滑烧的传统工艺师精心打造的「终极超扁平型急须」。

常滑烧的代表性陶土“朱泥”，富含铁分，能够有效抑制茶的涩味，使茶汤口感更加醇和柔顺。

虽然市面上的急须大多为圆形，但这把急须是为了最大限度引出茶叶的风味而特别设计为低矮且扁平的究极造型。

在各种扁平型急须中，这一款尤其扁平，是名副其实的「超扁平型」。

由于壶径较大，茶叶可以更快、更充分地舒展开来，扩散效果也更好，因此能更高效地冲泡出美味的茶汤。

即使注入的热水量较少，也能让茶叶充分展开，便于释放其原有的香气与滋味。

因为茶叶能迅速且更广阔地舒展，因此也非常适合用于「冷泡茶」。

所谓「冷泡茶」，即是使用冷水泡制的煎茶，由于不使用热水，能有效抑制茶中的苦涩成分，泡出的茶甘甜可口、旨味丰富。

本急须容量为200cc，非常适合作为一人份使用，显得游刃有余。

为了避免金属滤网对茶汤口感产生影响，注水口内侧特别配备了精致的陶瓷滤网。

无论是滤网还是急须本体，全部均为手工制作，凝聚了工艺师多年的熟练技艺与心血。

由于壶口、壶身与壶底直径几乎一致，使得壶内容易清洗、便于干燥，能随时保持清洁，非常卫生。

壶盖与壶身的外表面有如同手工拉坯般的横向旋纹，可见匠人的细致加工与用心。

壶盖设计得贴合度高，不易松脱，略带重量，倒茶时不易滑落；壶嘴设计亦十分讲究，不易滴漏。

虽为超扁平型，但整体造型仍保有圆润的线条，呈现出温和柔美的气息。

壶盖也是扁平设计，因此即使单手使用，也可以用拇指按住壶盖，轻松倒茶，兼具功能性与实用性。
