萩焼　節夫 作　かいらぎ　白萩　抹茶碗

萩焼から原節夫 作の抹茶碗のご紹介です。

小石の混じった茶色の土をろくろ挽きし

白釉を掛けて作られており白萩と呼ばれる

茶碗に仕上がっています。

全体にかいらぎと呼ばれる、釉薬が縮れ

下の生地が見える風合いに作られており

その亀裂は不規則で形、大きさ、長さは

様々で力強い雰囲気が出ています。

うっすらとろくろ目が見られ、釉薬は厚めに

掛かっており、ぽってりとした雰囲気が

あります。

サイズはたっぷりとしており、どっしりと

重厚感のある茶碗に仕上がっています。

胴の下部は少し丸みを帯び、手にしっくりと

馴染む造形です。

口は広く開いており、口当たりが良く

飲みやすい形状となっています。

竹節の切高台で釉薬と土の荒々しさが

現れている見所といえます。

表面は艶ややかで、やさしさも感じる

扱いやすい抹茶碗です。

Hagi Ware – Matcha Bowl by Setsuo, Kairagi White Hagi

Introducing a matcha bowl by Hara Setsuo in Hagi ware.

It is wheel-thrown using brown clay mixed with small stones,
and finished with a white glaze, known as White Hagi.

The entire surface displays the characteristic texture called kairagi,
where the glaze contracts and cracks, revealing the clay beneath.
These irregular fissures vary in shape, size, and length,
giving the bowl a dynamic and powerful presence.

Faint potter’s wheel marks can be seen,
and the glaze is applied thickly,
creating a soft, rounded impression.

The bowl is generously sized and finished with a solid, weighty presence.
The lower part of the body has a slight roundness,
fitting comfortably into the hand.

The wide-open mouth provides a smooth touch to the lips
and makes drinking easy.

The cut bamboo-joint style high foot (kiriko-dai)
reveals the rough character of both glaze and clay,
serving as a highlight of the piece.

The surface has a subtle gloss,

萩烧　节夫 作　鲇鱼皮纹 白萩 抹茶碗

下面为您介绍一只由萩烧名匠原节夫制作的抹茶碗。

采用夹杂细小石子的褐色陶土拉坯成型，
再施以白釉烧成，因此被称为“白萩”抹茶碗。

整体呈现出被称为“鲇鱼皮（かいらぎ）”的釉缩纹理，
局部釉药收缩龟裂，露出胎土肌理。
这些裂痕形态不一，大小长短皆不同，
营造出一种极具力量感的风貌。

碗身上可隐约见到拉坯痕迹，
釉层施挂较厚，呈现浑厚、朴实的气息。

尺寸宽大，器形厚重，
使整只茶碗具有沉稳而雄浑的存在感。

胴部下方略带圆润，握持时贴合手感舒适。
