Kiyomizu Ware – Handcrafted Round Mug with Floral Design in Blue by Toyu

This is a handcrafted Kiyomizu ware mug made by Toyu.

The body is formed from white porcelain, upon which floral motifs are hand-painted across the entire surface. Both the interior and exterior are adorned with underglaze blue decoration, requiring great effort and advanced skill.

The handle is also painted blue, creating a refined contrast between the white porcelain, the blue floral patterns, and the addition of green dotted accents, resulting in a chic and stylish design.

The body is thin and lightweight, making it easy to handle. Its wide mouth allows for easy cleaning, while the slightly flared rim offers a pleasant feel against the lips for comfortable drinking.

The rounded body and relatively wide foot provide excellent stability.
