Here is a handcrafted flower vase from Shigaraki ware.
Its form expands upward from the base, creating a stylish silhouette.
Viewed from above, it has a slim, eye-like, shallow shape that gives a refined impression.
The surface features the distinctive texture of clay spreading in a radial pattern.
The upper section is coated in white glaze, while the lower section is finished in brown glaze, creating a simple two-tone design.
The mouth of the vase has two contrasting expressions:
one side has a rugged, uneven surface, while the other side is smooth with no irregularities. Depending on the flowers you arrange, you can choose which side to display.
With white as the main color, it matches and enhances almost any type of flower.
