万古焼から黄釉の花器のご紹介です。

横から見ると水滴のように下がふくらんだ

生地に穴があけられた花器です。

表裏それぞれ異なる形の穴があけられ、

置く方向によって全く違う雰囲気の花が

生けられます。

黄釉のベースにグラデーションのかかった

薄い青色が施されており、淡い変化が

付けられています。

大き過ぎず、小さくもないコンパクトで

存在感のある花器です。

ベースの黄色は茎の緑や枝の茶色と

色の相性が良く、明るい雰囲気の生け花を

作ることが出来ます。

応用が効き、少しの花でも変化のある花を

活けることが出来る花器といえます。

Banko Ware – Yellow Glaze with Blue Gradient – Flower Vase

Introducing a flower vase from Banko ware finished with a yellow glaze.

The body is shaped so that, when viewed from the side, it swells toward the bottom like a water droplet, and openings have been carved into the clay.

Different shapes of openings are made on the front and back, allowing flowers to be arranged in completely different atmospheres depending on the direction in which the vase is placed.

A soft pale blue with a gradation effect is applied over the yellow-glazed base, giving the piece a gentle and subtle transition of color.

Compact yet neither too large nor too small, the vase has a strong presence.

The base yellow harmonizes well with the green of stems and the brown of branches, making it easy to create bright and uplifting floral displays.

Versatile in use, this vase allows for arrangements that show change and expression even with just a few flowers.
