清水焼から枝梅の抹茶碗のご紹介です。
薄茶色の細土をろくろで成形し、
上から白い釉薬が掛けられ梅の柄が
手描きされています。
抹茶碗の外側には紅梅が、内側には白梅が
描かれています。
枝梅は薄い色彩で描かれており、やわらかく
優しい風合いの絵柄に仕上がっています。
白釉の表面には貫入が見られ、全体が
ぽってりとした雰囲気の抹茶碗と
なっています。
手におさまる適度なサイズで外側下部には
ろくろ目と釉薬の境目が見られ特徴と
なっています。
あっさりとして、かわいらしさが感じられる
抹茶碗といえます。

Kiyomizu Ware – Handmade – Red and White Ume Blossom – Matcha Bowl
Introducing a matcha bowl decorated with ume (plum) branches from Kiyomizu ware.
The bowl is formed on a potter’s wheel using fine light-brown clay, then covered with a white glaze and hand-painted with ume blossoms.
Red ume blossoms are depicted on the exterior, while white ume blossoms are painted on the interior.
The ume branches are rendered in soft, pale colors, giving the design a gentle and warm impression.
Fine crazing can be seen on the surface of the white glaze, contributing to the overall rounded and comforting feel of the bowl.
It fits comfortably in the hands, and the lower exterior shows distinctive wheel marks and a transition line where the glaze ends—one of its charming features.
