波佐見焼からコーヒー碗皿ペアの

ご紹介です。

コーヒーカップ胴回りとソーサー表面に

赤絵と染付で、それぞれ瓔珞文様が

手描きされており多くの手間が掛けられて

います。

瓔珞とは、昔のインドの貴族が、頭や胸に

かけた珠玉や金属玉を紐でつないだ装飾具で

仏像の装飾や寺院内陣の装飾にも用いられた

ものです。

繊細で華やかな美しさがあり、高貴で

縁起のよい吉祥文様です。

生地は薄手で軽く、毎日使うのに扱いやすく

使いやすい器といえます。

口径が広めで安定しており、口の部分に

向けて緩やかに広がっているので飲みやすく

なっています。

このカップは伏せ焼といって、伏せた状態で

焼いているので、高台や糸底がなく、

真っ平らで釉薬もかかっており、つるつるに

なっています。

伝統技法と機能性を併せ持った珈琲碗皿と

Hasami Ware — Yōraku Motif Coffee Cup & Saucer Pair (Red & Blue)

This is a pair of Hasami ware coffee cups and saucers.

On the body of each cup and on the upper surface of each saucer, the yōraku motif is painstakingly hand-painted in red overglaze and in cobalt underglaze, requiring considerable time and skill.

Yōraku refers to an ornamental decoration once worn by ancient Indian nobility around the head or chest, consisting of strings of jewels or metal beads. The motif was also used to adorn Buddhist statues and the inner sanctuaries of temples.

It is a delicate and richly decorative pattern associated with elegance, nobility, and auspicious good fortune.

The clay body is thin and lightweight, making the pieces easy to handle for everyday use.
The wide mouth provides stability, and the rim gently flares outward for comfortable drinking.

These cups are made using the fuse-yaki (inverted firing) technique—fired upside down—so they have no foot or trimmed base. The bottom is completely flat, fully glazed, and smooth to the touch.

It is a set that combines traditional craftsmanship with practical functionality.

波佐見烧　瓔珞纹　咖啡杯碟　红・蓝　一对

这是来自波佐见烧的一对咖啡杯碟。

咖啡杯的腹部与茶托（碟）表面上，以赤绘与染付分别手绘了瓔珞纹样，工序繁复、十分费工。

所谓“瓔珞”，是古代印度贵族佩戴在头部或胸前，以珠玉和金属珠串联而成的装饰品，也用于佛像装饰及寺院内陣的装饰。

其纹饰细腻华美，富有高贵与吉祥之意。

胎土较薄且轻盈，日常使用也十分顺手，是易于使用的器物。

杯口较宽且稳定，口沿向上略作外撇，因此饮用时更为顺畅。

本杯采用“覆烧（伏烧）”技法，以倒置方式入窑烧成，因此无高台与糸底，底部平整并施釉，手感光滑顺畅。

可谓兼具传统技法与功能性的咖啡杯碟。
