「究極の平型急須」のご紹介です。

常滑焼の急須は鉄分を多く含んでいるため

お茶の味がまろやかになると

言われています。

ほとんどの急須は丸型ですが、お茶の味を

最大限に引き出すために低く平たく作られた

究極の形をした急須です。

径が大きいため茶葉が最大限に、

より早く開いて、広がりも良くなり、

よりおいしくお茶を抽出できる急須です。

また、湯の量が少なくても、茶葉が

広がりやすく茶葉の味を

引き出しやすくなります。

茶葉が早く、より大きく広がるので

「水出し冷茶」にもお使い頂けます。

「水出し冷茶」は水で淹れた煎茶のことで

湯を使わないことで、お茶の苦み成分を

抑えることが出来、甘みや旨みが多い

煎茶となります。

容量が１６０㏄なので、一人用を注ぎきる

急須となります。

金網を使うと金気がお茶の味に影響を

与えるので、注ぎ口の内側に陶器製の精巧な

茶こし網が付けられています。

この茶こし網も急須本体も全て手づくり

されており、熟練の職人技を注ぎ込んで

作られています。

口径と全体の底部の径がほぼ同じなので、

急須の内側が洗いやすく、乾燥させやすい

ので常に清潔さを保つことが出来

とても衛生的です。

蓋には円形の千筋、側面には「松皮」と

いって松の樹皮のような細かい文様が

入れられており、細部にも大変手間が

掛けられています。

蓋と胴にかけて茶色く窯変しており、

侘びた雰囲気が出ています。

蓋は落ちにくいよう、がたつきなく、

きっちりと重めに作られ注ぎ口は液だれ

しにくい作りとなっています。

蓋が平たいので、片手でも親指で蓋を

押さえながらお茶を注ぐことが出来、

機能的でもあります。

The Ultimate Flat-Type Teapot Crafted by a Tokoname Ware Traditional Artisan

We are pleased to introduce the “Ultimate Flat-Type Teapot” created by a certified traditional craftsman of Tokoname ware.
Tokoname teapots are known for their high iron content, which is said to mellow and enhance the flavor of tea.
While most teapots are round in shape, this teapot has been made low and flat in pursuit of the ultimate form that brings out the full potential of tea flavor.
Because of its wide diameter, the tea leaves can open more fully and more quickly, allowing them to spread evenly and extract tea more deliciously.
Even with a small amount of hot water, the tea leaves spread easily, making it easier to draw out their full flavor.
As the tea leaves open quickly and expand widely, this teapot is also suitable for brewing cold tea by water infusion (mizudashi reicha).
Mizudashi reicha refers to sencha brewed with water rather than hot water. By not using hot water, bitterness is suppressed, resulting in a sencha with greater sweetness and umami.
With a capacity of 160 cc, this teapot is ideal for serving a single portion.
Using a metal mesh strainer can affect the taste of tea due to metallic flavors, so this teapot is fitted with a finely crafted ceramic strainer built into the inside of the spout.
Both the strainer and the teapot body are entirely handmade, created with the refined skills of an experienced artisan.
Because the opening diameter and the diameter of the base are nearly the same, the inside of the teapot is easy to wash and dry, allowing it to remain clean and hygienic at all times.
The lid features circular sensuji (fine concentric line) carving, while the sides are decorated with a delicate “pine bark” (matsukawa) pattern resembling the texture of pine tree bark. Great care has been taken even in the smallest details.
Natural kiln color changes have created brown tones on the lid and body, giving the teapot a subdued, wabi-inspired atmosphere.
The lid is made with a precise, slightly heavy fit so it does not wobble or fall off easily, and the spout is designed to minimize dripping.
Because the lid is flat, tea can be poured even with one hand by holding the lid down with the thumb, making it highly functional as well.
Thoughtfully designed down to the finest details, this is truly an “ultimate teapot” — a timeless piece that can be used and enjoyed for many years.

为您介绍由常滑烧传统工艺士精心制作的
「究极平型急须」。

常滑烧的急须因陶土中富含铁分，
被认为能够使茶汤口感更加圆润柔和。

一般的急须多为圆形，
而这款急须为了最大限度地引出茶叶的风味，
特意制作为低矮、扁平的究极造型。

由于壶身直径较大，茶叶能够迅速且充分地展开，
舒展性极佳，从而更有效地萃取出
更加香醇可口的茶汤。

即使注入的热水量较少，茶叶也容易展开，
更容易引出茶叶本身的滋味。

茶叶展开迅速且幅度更大，
同样适用于「冷泡茶（冷煎茶）」。

所谓「冷泡茶」，是指用冷水冲泡的煎茶。
由于不使用热水，可以抑制苦涩成分，
使茶汤呈现出甜味与鲜味更加丰富的风味。

容量为160cc，
是一把适合单人使用、可一次倒完的急须。

若使用金属滤网，金属气味可能会影响茶汤风味，
因此在出水口内侧装配了
精巧的陶制茶滤网。

这只茶滤网与急须本体均为全手工制作，
倾注了熟练工匠的精湛技艺。

壶口直径与整体底部直径几乎相同，
使急须内部易于清洗、也更容易干燥，
能够始终保持清洁，十分卫生。

壶盖上施以圆形千筋纹，
侧面则饰有名为「松皮」的细致纹样，
如同松树树皮一般，
在细节之处亦可见极高的用心与工艺水准。

壶盖与壶身呈现出茶褐色的窑变效果，
散发出朴素而富有侘寂之美的氛围。

壶盖制作稳重贴合，不易滑落、毫无晃动，
出水口的设计也不易滴漏。

由于壶盖扁平，
即使单手操作，也可用拇指按住壶盖顺畅倒茶，
兼具良好的实用性。
