常滑焼の伝統工芸士が作った
「究極の平型急須」のご紹介です。
常滑焼の急須は鉄分を多く含んでいるため
お茶の味がまろやかになると
言われています。
ほとんどの急須は丸型ですが、お茶の味を
最大限に引き出すために低く平たく作られた
究極の形をした急須です。
径が大きいため茶葉が最大限に、より早く
開いて、広がりも良くなりより美味しく、
お茶を抽出できる急須です。
湯の量が少なくても、茶葉が広がりやすく
茶葉の味を引き出しやすくなります。
茶葉が早く、より大きく広がるので
「水出し冷茶」にもお使い頂けます。
「水出し冷茶」は水で淹れた煎茶のことで
湯を使わないことで、お茶の苦み成分を
抑えることが出来、甘みや旨みが多い
煎茶となります。
容量が１６０㏄なので一人分を注ぎきる
急須となります。
金網を使うと金気がお茶の味に影響を与える
ので、注ぎ口の内側に陶器製の精巧な
茶こし網が付けられています。
この茶こし網も急須本体も全て手づくり
されており、熟練の職人技を注ぎ込んで
作られています。
また口径と底部の径がほぼ同じなので
急須の内側が洗いやすく、乾燥させやすい
ので常に清潔さを保つことが出来
とても衛生的です。
黒泥を使い、黒一色のシンプルなデザイン
ですが、本体の外側側面には櫛目の市松柄が
付けられ手間が掛けられています。
蓋は落ちにくいようズレなく少し重めに
作られ、注ぎ口は液だれしにくい作りと
なっています。
蓋が平たいので、片手でも親指で蓋を
押さえながらお茶を注ぐことが出来、
機能的でもあります。
細部までよく考えられて作られ、
飽きの来ない永く使える「究極の急須」と
言える逸品です。

The Ultimate Handcrafted Flat-Type Teapot by a Tokoname Ware Master Artisan

We are pleased to introduce the “Ultimate Flat-Type Teapot,” handcrafted by a traditional Tokoname ware master artisan.
Tokoname teapots are said to mellow the flavor of tea because the clay contains a high amount of iron.
While most teapots are round, this teapot has been crafted low and flat in an ultimate form designed to draw out the full potential of the tea’s flavor.
Because of its wide diameter, the tea leaves open quickly and fully, allowing them to spread evenly, resulting in a richer and more flavorful extraction.
Even with a small amount of water, the tea leaves spread easily, making it easier to draw out their natural taste.
As the tea leaves expand quickly and widely, this teapot is also suitable for preparing cold-brewed tea.
Cold-brewed tea refers to sencha brewed with water instead of hot water. By not using hot water, bitterness is suppressed, producing sencha with enhanced sweetness and umami.
With a capacity of 160 cc, this teapot is ideal for brewing and pouring a single serving.
Since metal strainers can impart a metallic taste to tea, a finely crafted ceramic strainer is built into the inside of the spout.
Both this ceramic strainer and the teapot body are entirely handmade, infused with the refined skills of a seasoned artisan.
Additionally, because the opening diameter and the base diameter are nearly the same, the interior of the teapot is easy to wash and dries quickly, allowing it to be kept clean at all times and ensuring excellent hygiene.
Made from black clay, the design is simple and monochromatic, yet the outer sides of the body are adorned with a checkered comb-carved pattern, reflecting the care and effort put into its creation.
The lid is made slightly heavier to prevent slipping, and the spout is designed to minimize dripping.
Because the lid is flat, tea can be poured while holding it in place with the thumb using just one hand, making it highly functional.
Thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details, this is truly an “ultimate teapot” that can be used and enjoyed for many years without losing its appeal.

究极手工平型急须

下面为您介绍由常滑烧传统工艺士亲手制作的
「究极平型急须」。
常滑烧的急须因泥料中富含铁分，
据说能使茶汤口感更加圆润醇和。
一般的急须多为圆形，
而这款急须为了最大限度引出茶叶的风味，
特意制成低矮扁平的形态，
可谓达到了“究极”的造型。
由于壶身直径较大，
茶叶能够迅速且充分地展开，
舒展性更佳，从而萃取出更加香醇美味的茶汤。
即使注入的热水量较少，
茶叶也能容易展开，
更容易引出茶叶本身的风味。
茶叶展开迅速且幅度更大，
因此也适合用于冲泡
「冷泡茶（冷泡煎茶）」。
所谓「冷泡茶」，
是指不用热水、以冷水冲泡的煎茶。
由于不使用热水，
可以抑制茶中的苦涩成分，
使茶汤呈现出更多的甘甜与鲜味。
容量为160cc，
正好可一次注满一人份的茶量。
若使用金属滤网，
金属气味可能会影响茶的风味，
因此在壶嘴内侧装配了
陶制的精细茶滤网。
这只茶滤网以及急须本体
全部为手工制作，
凝聚了熟练工匠的精湛技艺。
此外，由于壶口直径与壶底直径几乎相同，
壶内清洗十分方便，
也易于干燥，
可始终保持清洁，
非常卫生。
采用黑泥制作，
整体为黑色的简约设计，
但在壶身外侧施以
櫛目市松纹装饰，
制作过程十分费工。
壶盖为防止滑落，
特意做得稍重且不易偏移，
壶嘴则采用不易滴漏的结构。
由于壶盖平坦，
即使单手操作，
也可用拇指按住壶盖顺畅倒茶，
兼具良好的实用性。
从细节到整体都经过周密考量，
