清水焼から手づくりぐい呑みのご紹介です。

白土をろくろ成形し天目調の釉薬をかけて

作られています。

天目釉のような艶のある銹色にグレーの

細かい斑紋が不規則に現れています。

深みのある色合いは奥深く高級感を

感じます。

釉薬の表面には見る角度によって虹色に輝く

部分があり特徴となっています。

内側は少し赤みがかった銅のような

温かみのある金属色を呈しています。

生地は薄手で見た目の重厚感に反して

軽く作られています。

少し大ぶりで直線的に上部に伸びあがった

スタイリッシュな造形となっています。

口径が大きく、口が外側に反った

羽反り口なので口当たりが良く、

飲みやすくなっています。

お酒と共に、器の風合いを楽しんで頂ける

Kiyomizu Ware – Tenmoku Style – Rust Luster – Iridescent – Handcrafted – Sake Cup (Guinomi)

Introducing a handcrafted guinomi from Kiyomizu ware.

It is formed on a potter’s wheel using white clay and finished with a Tenmoku-style glaze.

Against a glossy, rust-toned surface reminiscent of Tenmoku glaze, fine gray speckles appear irregularly throughout.

The deep, rich coloration conveys a profound sense of depth and refined elegance.

On the surface of the glaze, certain areas shimmer with iridescent hues depending on the viewing angle, creating a distinctive feature.

The interior presents a slightly reddish, copper-like metallic tone with a warm impression.

Although the body is thinly potted, it is lightweight despite its substantial and dignified appearance.

Slightly larger in size, the form rises straight upward toward the rim, resulting in a stylish silhouette.

The wide mouth and outward-flaring rim (ha-zori style) provide a pleasant feel on the lips, making it easy to drink from.

This is a sake cup that allows you to enjoy not only your drink, but also the texture and character of the vessel itself.
