萩焼から手づくり抹茶碗のご紹介です。

茶色の土をろくろ成形し、白い釉薬を掛けて

作られています。

胴にはろくろ目が残り、所々に下地の土が

見えている部分があって

特徴となっています。

切立型で口が広く少し羽反口になっている

ので、口当たりが良く飲みやすく

なっています。

高台は十文字に切り込んだ「十文字高台」で

切り込みが大きく、残った部分が

独立しているように見えます。

どっしりとして存在感のある力強い

抹茶碗です。

何年も使い込んで「萩の七変化」を

楽しんで頂けます。

Cross-Shaped Foot (Jūmonji Kōdai)

We are pleased to introduce this handcrafted matcha tea bowl from Hagi ware.

It is formed on the potter’s wheel using brown clay and finished with a white glaze.

The wheel marks remain visible on the body, and in places the underlying clay can be seen beneath the glaze, which serves as a distinctive characteristic of the piece.

The bowl features a straight-sided form with a wide mouth that gently flares outward, creating a comfortable feel against the lips and making it easy to drink from.

The foot is a “Jūmonji Kōdai” (cross-shaped foot), carved in a cross pattern. The cuts are deep and bold, giving the remaining sections an appearance of standing independently.

This is a solid and powerful matcha bowl with a strong presence.

With years of use, you can enjoy the “Seven Transformations of Hagi,” as the glaze gradually changes and develops character over time.

以茶色陶土经拉坯成形，施以白色釉药烧制而成。

碗身保留着拉坯纹理，局部可见露出的胎土，形成其独特的特色。

器型为切立型，碗口较为开阔，并略呈羽反口造型，

因此口感舒适，饮用顺口。

高台为切刻成十字形的“十文字高台”，

切口较大，留下的部分仿佛相互独立，

呈现出鲜明的造型特征。

这是一件厚重稳实、极具存在感与力量感的抹茶碗。

可经多年使用，尽情欣赏“萩之七变”的变化之美。
