信楽焼から手づくり水盤のご紹介です。
白土をろくろ成形し、ブルーの釉薬を掛けて
作られています。
美しいマットな青の釉薬が使われ、
さわやかな花器に仕上がっています。
底の平らな部分が広く、縁は少し丸みを
持ちながら斜めに立っており花が活けやすい
形状に作られています。
全体にろくろ目が見られ、手づくりの
風合いが出ています。
艶消しで色の濃淡のある土の雰囲気が
感じられ、高級感があります。
径が４０ｃｍもあり、大迫力の花を活けて
頂くことが出来、華展などでの大作を
作ることが出来ます。
シンプルですが、きれいで存在感のある
花器といえます。

We are pleased to introduce this handcrafted suiban (flower vessel) from Shigaraki ware.
It is wheel-thrown from white clay and finished with a blue glaze.
A beautiful matte blue glaze has been applied, resulting in a fresh and refreshing flower vessel.
The flat base area is wide, while the rim rises diagonally with a gentle roundness, creating a form that makes arranging flowers easy and stable.
Wheel marks can be seen across the entire surface, expressing the unique character and warmth of handcraftsmanship.
The matte finish and the subtle variations in the tone of the clay convey a refined atmosphere and a sense of luxury.
With an impressive diameter of 40 cm, it allows for the arrangement of large, dramatic floral compositions and is suitable for creating substantial works for exhibitions and formal flower displays.
