萩焼から十三代 田原陶兵衛の窯で作られた
花入のご紹介です。
いわゆる窯ものではありますが、
十三代 田原陶兵衛の作風やノウハウが
詰まった花入となっています。
小石の混じった黄土色の土をろくろ成形し
釉薬を掛けて作られています。
表面は少し赤みを帯びた斑紋が不規則に
現れており、御本手のような風合いと
なっています。
釉薬の表面には土に混じった小石や
ピンホールが無数に見られ、土ものの味わい
を感じられます。
また鶴首とは形状の一種で、鶴の首のような
細長い首の様な部分がある花入をいいます。
昔からある茶花として代表的な花入で
格の高い「真」の扱いとなります。
床の間などに数輪の花を活けて
さらっとさりげなく飾る花器です。
口がわずかに開いており花が生けやすく
なっています。
下部は丸みを帯びた下膨れ型で安定性があり
上部はすらっと首が伸びスマートなスタイル
をしており、永年愛されてきた飽きの来ない
花入といえます。
花器の裏側には「陶兵衛」の刻印が
ございます。

Hagi Ware – Crane-Neck Flower Vase
Kiln of Tahara Tōbei XIII
We are pleased to introduce this flower vase produced at the kiln of Tahara Tōbei XIII of Hagi ware.
Although it is technically a kiln-made piece, the vase embodies the distinctive style and accumulated expertise of Tahara Tōbei XIII.
It is wheel-thrown from yellowish clay mixed with small stones and finished with a glaze.
On the surface, slightly reddish mottled patterns appear irregularly, giving it a texture reminiscent of Gohon-de ware.
Numerous small stones contained in the clay as well as tiny pinholes can be seen on the glaze surface, allowing one to appreciate the natural charm characteristic of earthenware.
The term “tsurukubi” (crane-neck) refers to a type of shape with a long, slender neck resembling that of a crane.
Since ancient times, it has been a representative vase for tea flowers and is regarded as a high-ranked “shin” (formal) style in tea ceremony aesthetics.
It is a flower vessel intended to display a few blossoms in a tokonoma alcove, creating a simple and unobtrusive decoration.
The mouth opens slightly, making it easy to arrange flowers.
The lower portion has a rounded, slightly bulging form that provides stability, while the upper section features a gracefully elongated neck, giving the piece a refined and elegant silhouette.
It is a flower vase of timeless appeal that can be appreciated for many years without losing its charm.
The underside of the vase bears the stamped mark “Tōbei.”

下面为您介绍一件由萩烧十三代田原陶兵卫窑制作的花入。
虽属于所谓的“窑作器”，但这件花入凝聚了十三代田原陶兵卫的作风与技艺精华。
作品采用混有小石子的黄土色陶土，经拉坯成形后施釉烧制而成。
其表面不规则地呈现出略带红色的斑纹，具有类似“御本手”的独特风貌。
在釉面上还能看到土中夹杂的小石子以及无数细小的针孔（pin hole），充分展现出陶土器物特有的质感与韵味。
另外，“鹤首”是一种器形，指的是具有如鹤之颈般细长颈部的花入。
自古以来，这种器形作为茶花花入的代表之一，在茶道中被视为格调较高的“真”格花器。
适合在壁龛（床之间）等处插上数枝花，淡雅而自然地陈设装饰。
器口略微张开，便于插花使用。
下部呈圆润的下胀形，稳定性良好；上部则颈部修长挺拔，整体造型优雅纤细，是一件历经岁月仍令人百看不厌、深受喜爱的花入。
花器底部刻有“陶兵卫”的印记。
