萩焼　原節夫作の掛け花入れのご紹介です。

掛け花入れとは、垂撥（すいはつ）や茶室の

床柱や壁などに掛ける小ぶりな花入れで、

茶道で使われることが多くなっていますが

一般の家庭などでも、気軽に掛けて

楽しむことが出来ます。

この花入れの後ろ側には、釘にひっかける

金具が付いており垂直面に釘があれば、

何処にでもかけることが出来ます。

金具は花入れの後ろ側に付いているので、

置いた状態で花を生けることも出来ます。

この掛け花入れの形は、蹲（うずくまる）と

いって、人がうずくまっているような

姿であることから、この名前が付きました。

元々、室町時代から作られていた、

農家の豆入れ・種壺・油壺などとして

使われていたものを茶人たちの好みにより、

掛け花入れとして用いるようになり

現在に至っています。

茶色の土をろくろで挽き、白い釉薬が

掛けられ釉薬が縮れて下の生地が見えている

部分が何か所もあり、大胆で力強い印象を

受けます。

少し大ぶりで、全体に丸みがあり胴には

ろくろ目が見られます。

白い釉薬が厚めに掛けられ、艶深く、

ぽってりとした風合いがあります。

裏底には多くのピンホールがあり荒々しい

雰囲気が出ています。

白無地なのでほとんどの花を引き立ててくれます。

口は絞られ花が活けやすくなっています。

少しの花で季節を感じさせてくれる侘び茶・

寂びの世界が広がります。

省スペース、少ない花で、独特の世界を

作り出してくれます。

Hagi Ware – Hanging Flower Vase, “Uzukumaru” Form – Made by Setsuo Hara

Introducing a hanging flower vase by Hagi ware artist Setsuo Hara.

A hanging flower vase is a small flower container designed to be hung on a suihatsu (a decorative wooden strip used in tea rooms), on the tokobashira (alcove pillar), or on a wall in a tea room. It is often used in the tea ceremony, but it can also be easily hung and enjoyed in ordinary homes.

On the back of this flower vase, there is a metal fitting designed to hook onto a nail. As long as there is a nail on a vertical surface, it can be hung almost anywhere.

Since the metal fitting is attached to the back, the vase can also be placed on a surface and used as a standing flower container.

The shape of this hanging flower vase is called “Uzukumaru,” meaning “crouching,” because its form resembles a person crouching down, which is how it received its name.

Originally, vessels of this form were made from the Muromachi period and used by farmers as containers for beans, seed jars, and oil pots. Later, tea masters favored their rustic character and began using them as hanging flower vases, a practice that continues to the present day.

Brown clay is shaped on a potter’s wheel and covered with a white glaze. In several places the glaze has shrunk, revealing the underlying clay body, creating a bold and powerful impression.

The piece is slightly large, with a rounded overall form, and wheel marks can be seen on the body.

The white glaze is applied relatively thickly, giving it a deep luster and a soft, full-bodied texture.

On the underside, numerous pinholes appear, creating a rough and rustic atmosphere.

Because the vase is plain white, it beautifully complements and highlights almost any type of flower.

The mouth is slightly narrowed, making it easy to arrange flowers.

With just a small number of flowers, it evokes the seasonal sensibility and the aesthetic world of wabi-cha and sabi.

Even in a small space and with only a few flowers, it creates a distinctive and refined atmosphere.

为您介绍一件由萩烧作家原节夫制作的挂花入。

所谓挂花入，是一种小巧的花器，可挂在垂撥（すいはつ）或茶室的床柱、墙壁等处。在茶道中使用较为常见，同时在一般家庭中也可以轻松悬挂欣赏。

这件花入的背面安装有可挂在钉子上的金属挂件，只要在垂直的墙面上有钉子，便可以悬挂于任何地方。

由于挂件安装在花入背面，因此也可以将其放置在桌面上，在摆放状态下插花使用。

这种挂花入的形状称为“蹲（うずくまる）”，因其形态仿佛人蹲坐的姿态，因此得名。

这种造型原本自室町时代起便已制作，当时多作为农家用的豆容器、种壶、油壶等器具使用。后来因茶人们的喜好，被改用为挂花入，并一直沿用至今。

器物以茶色陶土拉坯成形，其上施以白色釉药。釉面局部产生收缩，露出下方胎土，在多处形成自然显现的肌理，给人以大胆而有力的印象。

整体尺寸略大，造型圆润，器身可见明显的拉坯纹理。

白色釉药施釉较厚，光泽深沉，呈现出饱满温润的质感。

底部背面可见许多针孔状小孔，营造出粗犷质朴的气氛。

由于为素白无纹的设计，几乎可以很好地衬托各种花材。

壶口略微收紧，使花材更容易固定与插置。

仅用少量花材，便能让人感受到季节气息，展现出侘茶与寂美的世界。

占用空间小，仅需少量花材，便能营造出独特的艺术氛围。
