萩焼　山根清玩作の掛け花入れのご紹介です。

掛け花入れとは、垂撥（すいはつ）や茶室の

床柱や壁などに掛ける小ぶりな花入れで、

茶道で使われることが多くなっていますが

一般の家庭などでも、気軽に掛けて

楽しむことが出来ます。

この花入れの後ろ側には、釘にひっかける

金具が付いており垂直面に釘があれば、

何処にでもかけることが出来ます。

金具は花入れの後ろ側に付いているので、

置いた状態で花を生けることも出来ます。

この花入れはその形が昔の旅宿の

枕（まくら）を連想させ「旅枕」

（たびまくら）と呼ばれています。

小石の混じった茶色の土をろくろ成形し

白い釉薬を掛けて作られています。

胴にはろくろ目がはっきりと現れ、中央に

くびれがみられ、正面の中央にえくぼが

作られ、凹凸のある造形となっています。

釉薬は焼成時に縮れてできた亀裂が

無数にあり、力強い雰囲気が出ています。

下部には茶色の釉薬が見られ、釉薬に浸ける

時の作家の指跡が残っており、手づくりの

味わいを感じさせてくれます。

白釉は艶やかでほとんどの花を引き立てて

くれます。

少しの花で季節を感じさせてくれる侘び茶・

寂びの世界が広がります。

省スペース、少ない花で、独特の世界を

作り出してくれます。

Hagi Ware – Created by Seigan Yamane – White Hagi – “Tabimakura” Hanging Flower Vase

We are pleased to introduce this hanging flower vase created by Seigan Yamane of Hagi ware.

A hanging flower vase is a small flower container designed to be hung on a suihatsu board, the pillar of a tea room alcove (tokobashira), or a wall. It is often used in the tea ceremony, but it can also be easily hung and enjoyed in ordinary homes.

A metal fitting is attached to the back of this vase for hanging on a nail. As long as there is a nail on a vertical surface, it can be hung almost anywhere.

Because the fitting is attached to the back, the vase can also be placed on a surface and used while standing upright.

The shape of this flower vase is reminiscent of the traditional pillow used at old roadside inns during travel, which is why it is called “Tabimakura” (travel pillow).

It is formed on a potter’s wheel using brown clay mixed with small stones and finished with a white glaze.

Distinct wheel marks appear clearly on the body, and the center is slightly constricted. A small dimple is formed on the front center, creating a sculptural form with subtle contours and texture.

The glaze has developed countless crack-like patterns caused by shrinking during firing, giving the piece a strong and expressive character.

Brown glaze can be seen near the lower part, and the artist’s finger marks from dipping the piece into the glaze remain visible, adding to the charm and character of handmade craftsmanship.

The glossy white glaze beautifully complements and enhances almost any flower.

With only a few flowers, it evokes the seasonal atmosphere and expresses the aesthetic world of wabi-cha and sabi.

Requiring little space and only a small arrangement of flowers, it creates a unique and refined artistic atmosphere.

为您介绍一件由萩烧作家山根清玩制作的挂花入。

所谓挂花入，是指悬挂在垂撥（すいはつ）、茶室的床柱或墙壁上的小型花器。此类花器在茶道中使用较多，但在一般家庭中也可以轻松悬挂欣赏。

这件花入背面装有可挂在钉子上的金属挂件，只要在垂直面上有钉子，便可以悬挂在任何地方。

由于金属挂件安装在花入背面，因此也可以将其放置在桌面上插花使用。

这件花入的造型令人联想到昔日旅宿所使用的枕头，因此被称为“旅枕”。

作品以混有小石子的褐色陶土经拉坯成形，再施以白色釉药烧制而成。

壶身上清晰可见拉坯时留下的旋纹，中央略有收腰，正面中央做出如酒窝般的凹陷，使整体呈现出富有凹凸变化的造型。

釉药在烧成过程中产生收缩形成了无数细小裂纹，呈现出一种充满力量感的气氛。

下部可以看到褐色釉药，并且保留了在施釉时作者手指留下的痕迹，使人能够感受到手工制作的韵味。

白釉光泽柔美，能够很好地衬托大多数花材。

只需少量花材，便能营造出富有季节感的侘茶与寂美意境。

占用空间小，即使使用少量花材，也能创造出独特的艺术世界。
