信楽焼から手づくり花器のご紹介です。
茶色の土を円筒形に成形し、外側に白釉を
掛けて作られています。
白釉は小石の混じった、ざらっとした
粗めもので横方向に刷毛で塗られたような
筋がたくさん見られ荒々しさを感じます。
正面には長方形の削ぎがいくつも施され、
下地の土を出した斬新なデザインと
なっています。
無地がいい場合は裏側を正面にすれば
２通りの使い方が出来ます。
円筒形の造形は花を入れるだけで簡単に
活けられ、どなたでもお気軽に
お使い頂けます。
白をベースとしているので、ほとんどの花に
マッチし引き立ててくれます。
白と茶のみのシンプルなデザインは
和洋問わずどのような住宅にも合う

We are pleased to introduce a handcrafted flower vase from Shigaraki ware.
It is made by shaping brown clay into a cylindrical form and applying a white glaze to the exterior.
The white glaze contains small stones, giving it a coarse, slightly rough texture. Numerous horizontal brush-like streaks can be seen, creating a bold and rustic impression.
On the front, several rectangular faceted carvings (kakusogi) have been applied, revealing the underlying clay and resulting in a striking, innovative design.
If you prefer a plain appearance, simply turn the reverse side to the front, allowing for two different ways of use.
The cylindrical form makes it easy to arrange flowers—simply place them inside—so anyone can enjoy using it with ease.
As it is based on a white tone, it complements and enhances almost any type of flower.
The simple design, composed only of white and brown, makes it a stylish vase that suits both Japanese and Western interiors.
