萩焼から手づくり湯呑のご紹介です。

小石の混じった茶色の土をろくろ挽きし

白釉を掛けて作られており白萩と呼ばれる

湯呑に仕上がっています。

全体にかいらぎと呼ばれる、釉薬が縮れ

下の生地が見える風合いに作られており

その亀裂は不規則で形、大きさ、長さは

様々で力強い雰囲気が出ています。

うっすらとろくろ目が見られ、釉薬は厚めに

掛かっており、ぽってりとした雰囲気が

あります。

胴の四方にえくぼが作られ親指が置きやすく

持ちやすい形状となっています。

釉薬は艶があり、すべすべで扱いやすく

高級感のある風合いです。

口は外側に反っているので口当たりがよく、

飲みやすくなっています。

シンプルな白はお茶の色をより引き立てて

くれます。

使い込んで頂き、「萩の七変化」を楽しんで

頂ける永く使える器といえます。

Hagi Ware, Yunomi (Tea Cup) by Kunisuke, Kairagi, White

We are pleased to introduce a handcrafted yunomi (tea cup) from Hagi ware.

It is wheel-thrown from brown clay mixed with small stones, then finished with a white glaze, resulting in what is known as “Shiro-Hagi” (white Hagi).

The entire surface features a texture called “kairagi,” where the glaze contracts and reveals the underlying clay body. The cracks are irregular, varying in shape, size, and length, creating a powerful and dynamic impression.

Subtle wheel marks can be seen, and the glaze is applied thickly, giving the piece a soft, rounded appearance.

There are gentle indentations on four sides of the body, making it easy to rest the thumb and providing a comfortable grip.

The glaze has a glossy, smooth texture, making it pleasant to handle and giving it a refined, high-quality feel.

The rim gently flares outward, offering a comfortable mouthfeel and making it easy to drink from.

The simple white color enhances the appearance of the tea.

With continued use, you can enjoy the “Seven Transformations of Hagi,” making this a vessel that can be appreciated for many years.

为您介绍一款萩烧手工制作的茶杯。

此茶杯采用夹杂小石子的褐色陶土，经拉坯成型，
再施以白釉烧制而成，被称为“白萩”的茶杯。

整体呈现出被称为“梅花皮（开片）”的效果，釉面自然收缩，
显露出下层胎土的质感。
其裂纹不规则，形状、大小、长短各异，展现出一种富有力量感的风貌。

器表可隐约看到拉坯的纹理，釉层施釉较厚，
整体呈现出圆润厚实的质感。

杯身四面设有指窝，便于拇指放置，
