小石の混じった茶色の土をろくろ成形し、
白い釉薬を掛けて仕上げた萩焼の
片口鉢です。
林紅陽氏による作品です。
ろくろ挽きした生地を変形させ、
注ぎ口が付けられています。
片口鉢とは鉢に注ぎ口を設けた器のことで
装飾としての意味合いを持つものも
ありますが、この器の注ぎ口は穴が
貫通しており、汁気などを実際に注ぐことが
できます。
胴にはろくろ目が残り、土には小石や
ピンホールが見られ、荒々しくも味わい深い
表情を作り出しています。
白釉の不規則な流れや垂れ具合も
見どころの一つです。
白釉の掛かった部分はすべすべとし、
それ以外は土ならではの、ざらっとした
感触が楽しめます。
土ものとしては軽めで、日常使いにも
負担なくお使いいただけます。
口が広く料理が盛りやすい形状で、
小ぶりなサイズは様々な料理に合わせやすく
汎用性の高い器です。
土の色と白釉のやわらかな風合いが
食卓の料理を引き立ててくれます。
食洗機のご使用はお避けください。
吸水性があるため、使う前にあらかじめ器に
水をしみ込ませてからお使いください。

Hagi Ware, by Kōyō (Kōyō Hayashi), Irregular Form, Katakuchi Bowl
This is a Hagi ware katakuchi bowl, formed on a potter’s wheel from brown clay mixed with small stones and finished with a white glaze.
It is a work by Kōyō Hayashi.
The wheel-thrown body is intentionally altered into an irregular shape, and a pouring spout has been added.
A katakuchi bowl is a vessel with a spout; while some are decorative, the spout of this piece is fully pierced, allowing liquids such as sauces or broths to be poured.
Throwing marks from the wheel remain on the body, and the clay reveals small stones and pinholes, creating a rustic yet richly expressive surface.
The irregular flow and drips of the white glaze are also among its highlights.
The glazed areas have a smooth, silky feel, while the unglazed portions offer the slightly rough texture unique to earthenware.
Relatively lightweight for a clay piece, it is comfortable for everyday use.
With its wide opening, it is easy to serve food, and its compact size makes it versatile for a variety of dishes.

萩烧 红阳 作 变形 片口钵
这是一件以混有小石的褐色陶土经拉坯成形后，施以白色釉药烧制而成的萩烧片口钵。
为林红阳氏的作品。
将拉坯成形的坯体加以变形，并制作出带有注口的造型。
所谓片口钵，是在钵体上设置注口的器物，有些仅具装饰意义，而此器的注口为贯通结构，可实际用于倾倒汤汁等液体。
器身保留了明显的拉坯纹理，胎土中可见小石与针孔，呈现出粗犷而富有韵味的表情。
白釉不规则的流动与垂落状态也是其观赏要点之一。
施有白釉的部分触感光滑，其余部分则保留陶土特有的微粗质感，可享受不同触觉变化。
相较一般陶土器而言重量较轻，日常使用亦无负担。
口部开阔，便于盛放料理，小巧的尺寸也易于搭配多种菜式，是一款通用性很高的器皿。
土色与白釉柔和的质感，能够很好地衬托餐桌上的料理。
