一片の木をくり抜いて、熟練の職人さんが

一彫り一彫り手作業でノミ彫りをして作った

トレーです。

上から幾重にも、すり漆塗を施し耐久性を

高めた堅牢な漆器です。

真塗りとは異なり傷などを気にすることなく

毎日の生活の中でどんどん使って頂ける、

実用的なトレーです。

一人用のトレーとして煎茶とお菓子、

お抹茶と和菓子、コーヒーとケーキ、

紅茶とクッキー、ミルクとサンドイッチ、

お酒とおつまみ、などデザートから軽食まで

様々な用途にお使い頂けます。

縁がなだらかに上がっているので、上の器が

ずり落ちるのを防いでくれます。

適度な凹凸が上にのせてあるものを

取りやすくしています。

トレー裏面の細工は、トレーの変形を

We are pleased to introduce this hollowed wooden tray with hand-carved chisel work from Sanuki lacquerware.
Crafted from a single piece of wood, this tray is meticulously carved by skilled artisans, each cut made carefully by hand using chisels.
Multiple layers of rubbed urushi lacquer are applied to the surface, enhancing its durability and creating a robust piece of lacquerware.
Unlike high-gloss lacquer finishes, this tray can be used daily without concern for minor scratches, making it highly practical for everyday use.
As a personal tray, it is ideal for a variety of settings: sencha tea with sweets, matcha with wagashi, coffee with cake, tea with cookies, milk with sandwiches, or even sake with snacks. It is suitable for everything from desserts to light meals.
The gently raised edges help prevent items placed on the tray from slipping off.
The subtle uneven texture of the surface makes it easier to pick up items placed on it.
The craftsmanship on the underside helps prevent warping of the tray and also provides an anti-slip effect.
This is truly an exceptional piece that conveys both the refined elegance of hand carving and the warmth of natural wood.
