萩焼から林紅陽作の片口鉢のご紹介です。

萩の赤茶色の土をろくろ成形し、その後

楕円に変形させて口を作り釉薬を掛けて

作られています。

釉薬は緋色に窯変して自然な赤褐色がよく

出ており、温かみのある風合いに

なっています。

白釉の流れや垂れなども見られ、

変化があります。

胴にはろくろ目が残り、両サイドにえくぼが

作られています。

生地は萩焼としては薄手で軽く使いやすく

できています。

表面は艶やかで手触りもよく、すべすべと

なっています。

汁物を入れて片口を使ったり、お料理を

盛って中鉢としてや、取り鉢としても

使えます。

適度な使いやすいサイズ感と手づくりの

高級感、土ものの良さを感じられる器と

いえます。

Hagi Ware – Handmade Hiiro Katakuchi Bowl by Koyo

Introducing a katakuchi bowl by Hayashi Koyo from Hagi Ware.

It is crafted from Hagi’s reddish-brown clay, shaped on the potter’s wheel, then gently altered into an oval form with a pouring spout before being glazed and fired.

The glaze has transformed in the kiln into a hiiro (scarlet-flame hue), bringing out beautiful natural reddish-brown tones and creating a warm, inviting character.

Flows and drips of white glaze can also be seen, adding further variation and visual interest.

Wheel-thrown marks remain on the body, and small dimples have been formed on both sides.

The body is relatively thin and lightweight for Hagi Ware, making it easy and comfortable to use.

The surface has an elegant sheen and a smooth, pleasant texture.

It can be used for soups or sauces by taking advantage of the pouring spout, or for serving food as a medium bowl or individual serving bowl.

With its practical and versatile size, handmade sense of luxury, and the appealing qualities of earthenware, this is a vessel that truly showcases the charm of traditional craftsmanship.

萩烧　红阳作　手工制作　绯色　片口钵

现为您介绍一款由萩烧作家林红阳制作的片口钵。

作品以萩烧特有的红褐色陶土经拉坯成形后，

再塑造成椭圆形，并制作出片口，随后施釉烧制而成。

釉色经过窑变呈现出绯色效果，

自然的红褐色表现十分鲜明，

整体散发出温暖柔和的质感。

同时还能看到白釉自然流淌与垂落的变化，

富有层次与变化之美。

器身保留了拉坯纹理，

两侧还做出了酒窝状的凹陷装饰。

胎体以萩烧而言较为轻薄，

拿取轻巧，使用方便。

表面富有光泽，触感细腻顺滑，

手感十分舒适。

既可盛装汤汁类料理，并利用片口倒取，

也可作为中钵盛放菜肴，

或作为分食用的小钵使用。
