越前漆器から木製の干菓子器のご紹介です。
杉の木地を加工して作られた茶道などでは
乾いたお菓子を盛る、平たい漆器です。
柾目の杉木地を使っているので美しい木目が
見られ塗りとは異なり木そのものの味わいを
感じられます。
この菓子器には表面に六つの瓢箪が
手描きされています。
青、赤、緑の小ぶりな瓢箪が二つずつ描かれ
色彩豊かになっています。
六つの瓢箪が彫られていることから、
六瓢（むびょう）と、病気をしない無病
（むびょう）をかけた縁起のいい器です。
健康で元気で居られますようにと願いを
込めて作られた器です。
末広がりの形をした瓢箪は、昔からお守りや
厄除けとして広く用いられてきました。
蔓がのび実が鈴なりになるので「子孫繁栄」
「家運興隆」を意味し豊臣秀吉が馬印に
千成瓢箪を使っていたことは有名で
「必勝祈願」や「立身出世」も
意味しています。
茶道では、よく出てくる文様で定番と
いえるものです。
干菓子器以外にも、盛皿など様々な使い方が
できそうです。
この器は表面が木地そのものなので水分や
油などで湿った食べ物を盛らないように
ご注意ください。

Introducing a wooden higashi confectionery tray from Echizen lacquerware.
This flat lacquerware tray, crafted from cedar wood, is traditionally used in the tea ceremony for serving dry sweets.
Made from straight-grain cedar wood, it displays a beautiful natural wood grain, allowing one to appreciate the warmth and character of the wood itself, distinct from fully lacquered finishes.
Six gourds are hand-painted on the surface of this confectionery tray.
Two small gourds each in blue, red, and green are depicted, giving the piece a rich and colorful appearance.
Because six gourds are illustrated, the design is associated with the auspicious wordplay between “mubyō” (six gourds) and “mubyō” meaning “free from illness,” making this a fortunate vessel symbolizing good health.
It is a piece created with the heartfelt wish that its owner may remain healthy and full of vitality.
The gourd, with its widening shape toward the base, has long been used in Japan as a protective charm and talisman against evil.
As gourds grow abundantly on extending vines, they symbolize “prosperity of descendants” and “family prosperity.” It is also well known that Toyotomi Hideyoshi used the Sen-nari Gourd as his battle standard, giving the motif additional meanings such as “prayers for victory” and “success in life and career.”
In the tea ceremony world, the gourd motif is a classic and frequently used traditional design.
In addition to serving dry sweets, this piece may also be used in various ways, such as a serving platter.
As the surface retains the natural unfinished wood grain itself, please avoid placing moist or oily foods directly on the tray.

由于采用了杉木柾目木材，

可直接感受到木材本身天然的韵味。
这件点心盘表面手绘有六个葫芦图案。
分别绘有蓝色、红色、绿色的小巧葫芦各两个，
色彩丰富而雅致。
由于器物上绘有六个葫芦，
因此称作“六瓢（むびょう）”，
同时也与“无病（むびょう）”谐音，
是一件寓意吉祥的器物。
寄托了希望使用者健康平安、
精神饱满的美好愿望。
葫芦因其下宽上窄、末广渐开的形状，
自古以来便被广泛作为护身符及避邪之物使用。
由于葫芦藤蔓延伸、生果累累，
因此也寓意“子孙繁荣”、

著名的是，丰臣秀吉曾以“千成葫芦”
作为马印，
因此葫芦还具有“祈愿必胜”以及
“飞黄腾达”的含义。
在茶道中，
葫芦纹样也是经常出现、堪称经典的传统纹饰。
