赤津焼から松本鉄山作の織部の抹茶碗の

ご紹介です。

ベージュの土をろくろ挽きで成形し

織部の釉薬を掛けて作られています。

平茶碗は普通の抹茶碗よりも、口径が大きく

背が低いのが特徴です。

これは暑い時期に少しでも、涼しくお抹茶を

召し上がって頂くように口径が広いことで、

お抹茶が冷めやすくなっています。

亭主のおもてなしの気持ちを感じることが

出来ます。

土ものの抹茶碗は、一見すると重そうに

見えますが、ろくろ技術が高いため

薄く繊細さを感じる生地につくられており、

大変軽くなっています。

織部の釉薬は内外に二か所、掛けられ

外側には鉄絵で２種類の絵柄が

描かれています。

生地にはろくろ目が残され、随所に削ぎ跡が

確認ができます。

全体的に貫入も見られ、使い込んで頂くと

独特の味わいも出てきます。

非常に落ち着いた、茶の湯の原点に

立ち戻ったかのような、侘びを感じる

抹茶碗です。

Akazu Ware Oribe Flat Tea Bowl by Matsumoto Tetsuzan

Introducing an Oribe-style matcha tea bowl by Matsumoto Tetsuzan from Akazu ware.

It is formed on a potter’s wheel using beige clay and finished with Oribe glaze.

A hira-chawan (flat tea bowl) is characterized by a wider diameter and lower height compared to a standard matcha bowl.

This design allows matcha to cool more easily due to the wide opening, enabling guests to enjoy tea more comfortably during the hot season.

One can truly feel the host’s spirit of hospitality in this thoughtful design.

At first glance, earthenware matcha bowls may appear heavy, but thanks to the high level of wheel-throwing skill, the body is made thin and delicate, resulting in a remarkably lightweight bowl.

The Oribe glaze has been applied in two areas on both the interior and exterior, and two different designs have been painted on the outside using iron pigment decoration.

Wheel marks remain visible on the clay body, and trimming marks can also be seen throughout the piece.

Fine crackles can be observed overall, and with continued use, the bowl will develop a unique character and depth of appearance.

This is an exceptionally calm and refined matcha bowl that evokes the wabi aesthetic, as if returning to the very origins of the tea ceremony.

此茶碗以米黄色陶土经拉坯成型，再施以织部釉烧制而成。

平茶碗与一般抹茶碗相比，其特点是口径较大、器形较低。

这是为了在炎热季节中，能够让人稍微清凉地享用抹茶，因此较宽的口径使抹茶更容易降温。

从中也能够感受到主人待客款待之心。

陶土制的抹茶碗乍看之下似乎较为厚重，但由于拉坯技艺高超，胎体被制作得轻薄而细腻，因此整体非常轻巧。

织部釉在内外两处施挂，外侧还以铁绘描绘了两种不同的纹样。

胎体表面保留了明显的拉坯纹，并且在各处都可以看到削修的痕迹。

整体还能看到贯入纹，随着长期使用，会逐渐呈现出独特而富有韵味的风貌。

这是一款气质极为沉稳，仿佛回归茶之汤原点一般，能够令人感受到“侘寂”之美的抹茶碗。
