白磁の生地に赤絵で花が手描きされて
います。
土瓶は、急須を大きくしたもので、
お湯を注いでお茶を抽出して湯呑みなどに
注ぐ器です。
急須では容量が小さ過ぎて、何度も
入れ直さないといけない場合や、大勢の人に
一度にお茶を入れて出さないといけない
時には大変便利な器です。
土瓶は大容量の器なので、デザインが
軽視されがちですが、この土瓶は全体に
赤絵の花が手描きされているので、
白磁に赤絵が映え、かわいらしいデザインと
なっており、高級感があります。
持ち手のツルもビニール製ではなく、本物の
高品質のツルがついているので
更によく見えます。

Because dobin teapots are made with generous capacity, their design is often considered secondary. However, this piece is decorated throughout with hand-painted red floral patterns that stand out beautifully against the white porcelain. The handle is fitted with a genuine, high-quality woven rattan grip rather than a vinyl one, further enhancing its refined look.
