秋田杉を使って作られた、一枚板のお膳の

ご紹介です。

秋田の厳しい冬を耐えながら育った秋田杉は

年輪が細かく節が少なく美しい柾目と

光沢が特徴です。

弾力性に富み、極めて軽量な秋田杉は、

かつて豊臣秀吉が伏見城築城の際、

はるばる取り寄せて使ったほど良質な

木材であることが分かります。

一本の杉の丸太から採れる、柾目のきれいな

木目は全体の３割ほどしかないと言われ、

厳選された部位を使用しています。

和モダンといえる長方形の板膳は、お膳や

ランチョンマット、フリートレーとして

お使い頂けます。

杉の自然な木目を生かした凹凸のある

滑り止めの部分が表面全体となっています。

また、ウレタン塗装がされているので、

しょうゆやタレがこぼれても浸み込むことは

ありませんので、安心してお使い頂けます。

裏面はテーブルから持ち上げやすいように

指が入れられるよう斜めにカットされており

機能的です。

デザインよし、材質よし、使い勝手よしの

Akita cedar, which grows while enduring the harsh winters of Akita, is renowned for its fine annual rings, few knots, beautiful straight grain, and natural luster.

Highly resilient yet exceptionally lightweight, Akita cedar has long been prized as a superior timber. It is said that Toyotomi Hideyoshi even had it transported from Akita for use in the construction of Fushimi Castle, demonstrating the exceptional quality of this wood.

It is said that only about 30% of a single Akita cedar log yields the beautiful straight-grained lumber known as masame (vertical grain). This tray is crafted using only these carefully selected portions.

With its clean, rectangular form that embodies a modern Japanese aesthetic, this versatile board can be used as a traditional serving tray, a placemat, or a multi-purpose serving board.

The entire surface features a subtly textured, non-slip finish that preserves the natural beauty and grain of the cedar.

The tray is finished with a durable urethane coating, so even if soy sauce or other sauces are spilled, they will not penetrate the wood, allowing you to use it with confidence.

For added functionality, the underside is cut at an angle, creating a finger grip that makes the tray easy to lift from a tabletop.

秋田杉富有弹性且重量极轻，是一种品质极佳的木材。据说当年丰臣秀吉修建伏见城时，还曾特地远从秋田运来作为建筑用材，可见其优良的品质。

据称，一根秋田杉原木中，仅约三成能够取得纹理优美的柾目木材，因此本产品采用了经过严格挑选的优质部位制作。
