山中塗から木製プレートのご紹介です。

栓の木をくりぬいて、すりうるしを施して

作られています。

皿の平らな部分が広く、盛る部分が広いので

使いやすい形状となっています。

縁は斜めに反り上がっているので、

器の持ち置きがしやすく扱いやすいです。

縁の内外には横方向に筋が入れられており、

持った時の滑り止めとデザインが

両立されています。

陶磁器のプレートに近い形状なので、

菓子器や盛皿としてはもちろん、トースト皿

など普段使いにも適しています。

木がくりぬかれているので軽めで、自然の

木目が見え木のぬくもりを感じて頂けます。

うるしの風合いと木製のよさを感じて頂ける

漆器といえます。

It is crafted by hollowing out a solid piece of Japanese Japanese Pagoda Tree (Sen wood) and finished with a suri-urushi (wiped lacquer) coating.

The plate features a wide, flat surface, providing ample space for serving food, making it both practical and easy to use.

The rim gently slopes upward, allowing the plate to be held securely and handled with ease.

Horizontal grooves are carved along both the inside and outside of the rim, serving as both an attractive decorative feature and an effective non-slip grip when carrying the plate.
