常滑焼から朱泥急須のご紹介です。
常滑焼の代名詞といえる「朱泥」は陶土に
多く含まれる鉄分がお茶の渋みを抑え、
まろやかな味を楽しむことが出来ます。
朱泥の土を成形し外側には横方向に千段が
入れられており、シンプルですが凹凸のある
デザインとなっています。
胴は丸みを帯び、５５０ｃｃの大容量があり
口は広めで茶葉の出し入れが容易で
洗いやすく使いやすい造形となっています。
注ぎ口の内側には大きめの金網が付けられて
おり網の面積が大きいので深蒸し茶葉でも
目詰まりしにくい仕様となっています。
注ぎ口は湯切れがよく、液だれしにくい
機能的な作りとなっています。

A large stainless steel mesh strainer is fitted inside the base of the spout. Because of its wide filtering surface, it is less likely to become clogged, even when brewing deeply steamed tea leaves (fukamushi-cha).
