常滑焼から黒泥急須のご紹介です。
常滑焼の代名詞といえる「黒泥」は陶土に
多く含まれる鉄分がお茶の渋みを抑え、
まろやかな味を楽しむことが出来ます。
黒泥の土を成形し外側には横方向に千段が
入れられており、シンプルですが凹凸のある
デザインとなっています。
胴は丸みを帯び、５５０ｃｃの大容量があり
口は広めで茶葉の出し入れが容易で
洗いやすく使いやすい造形となっています。
注ぎ口の内側には大きめの金網が付けられて
おり網の面積が大きいので深蒸し茶葉でも
目詰まりしにくい仕様となっています。
注ぎ口は湯切れがよく、液だれしにくい
機能的な作りとなっています。
滑らかな表面は使い心地もよく、黒のみの

We are pleased to introduce a black clay teapot from Tokoname ware.
“Black clay,” known as one of the defining characteristics of Tokoname ware, contains a high amount of iron in the clay. This is said to help reduce the astringency of tea, allowing you to enjoy a smoother and more mellow flavor.
The black clay is shaped into the teapot, and the exterior is decorated with horizontal sen-dan (thousand-step) ridges, creating a simple yet textured design with a distinctive three-dimensional surface.
The body has a gently rounded form and a large capacity of 550 cc. The opening is relatively wide, making it easy to add and remove tea leaves and convenient to wash. The overall form is designed for ease of use.
A relatively large metal mesh filter is fitted inside the spout. Because the filter has a large surface area, it is less likely to become clogged, even when using deeply steamed tea leaves.
The spout is designed for a clean pour, allowing the tea to drain well and helping to prevent dripping.
