美濃焼から飛び鉋（とびかんな）の
マグカップと２１ｃｍプレート皿の
セットのご紹介です。
「飛び鉋」とは一種の文様を彫りつける
装飾技法で、ろくろに器物を据えて削りを
入れる場合、箆（へら）の当たる角度が
大きくなると、箆（ヘラ）はろくろの回転に
はね上げられて器の表面に手斧（ちょうな）
をかけたような削り目が付くことが
あります。
これを「飛び鉋（かんな）」とか
「躍り箆（おどりべら）」といいます。
マグカップの外側とプレートの縁に濃い青と
薄いブルーのツートンカラーでこの技法が
使われており、さわやかなデザインと
なっています。
生地はクリーム色をしており、ヨーロッパの
陶器のような温かみのある風合いが
出ています。
マグカップは寸胴型のシンプルで安定感の
ある造形になっています。
プレートはハムエッグやトースト、
サンドイッチなど朝食などの軽食に適した

Mino Ware Tobikanna Mug & 21 cm Plate Set
We are pleased to introduce this set from Mino ware, consisting of a mug and a 21 cm plate featuring the traditional Japanese “Tobikanna” decorative technique.
“Tobikanna” is a decorative technique in which patterns are carved into the surface of a ceramic vessel. When a vessel is placed on a potter’s wheel and trimmed, if the angle at which the trimming tool touches the surface becomes large, the tool can be bounced upward by the rotation of the wheel, leaving distinctive marks on the surface that resemble the marks made by a traditional Japanese hand adze called a “chōna.”
This technique is known as “Tobikanna,” literally meaning “jumping kanna,” or “Odori-bera,” meaning “dancing spatula.”
This technique is used on the outside of the mug and around the rim of the plate in two shades of blue—a deep blue and a light blue—creating a fresh and refreshing design.
The ceramic body has a creamy color, giving it a warm and inviting texture reminiscent of European pottery.
The mug has a simple, straight-sided form with a stable and well-balanced appearance.
The plate is a convenient size for light meals such as ham and eggs, toast, and sandwiches, making it suitable for a variety of uses.

“飞鉋”是一种在器物表面刻划出纹样的装饰技法。当器物放置在陶轮上进行削制时，如果削刀（箆，Hera）与器物表面的接触角度变大，削刀会受到陶轮旋转的作用而向上弹起，从而在器物表面形成类似使用手斧（ちょうな）削制过的纹理。
这种技法被称为“飞鉋（Kanna）”，也称为“跃箆（Odori-bera）”。
马克杯外侧以及餐盘的边缘采用了深蓝色与浅蓝色的双色设计，并运用了这种装饰技法，呈现出清新爽朗的设计风格。
