美濃焼から手づくり湯呑のご紹介です。

白土をろくろ成形し織部の釉薬を掛けて

作られています。

外側は削ぎが不規則に入れられており、

凹凸のある力強い風合いとなっています。

小石の混じった土が使われているので、

表面に細かい石が見られ、荒々しさが

感じられます。

内側には、ろくろ目が見られ、織部釉がなく

土そのものの色となっており、お茶の色が

よく見える色合いです。

大ぶりなサイズは、お茶をたっぷりと入れて

楽しむことが出来ます。

口の部分はわずかに外側に開いているので、

口当たりが良く、飲みやすくなっています。

織部釉の濃淡、土ものの手づくり感を存分に

堪能できる器といえます。

Mino Ware – Oribe, Carved Texture, Handmade Tea Cup

We are pleased to introduce this handmade tea cup from Mino Ware.

It is made by shaping white clay on a potter’s wheel and applying Oribe glaze.

The outer surface features irregularly carved facets, creating a bold, powerful texture with pronounced relief.

The clay contains small stones, which can be seen as tiny specks on the surface, giving the piece a rough and rustic character.

Inside, the marks left by the potter’s wheel can be seen. The interior is not covered with Oribe glaze, allowing the natural color of the clay to show through. This color also makes the color of the tea easy to see.

Its generously sized form allows you to enjoy a plentiful serving of tea.

The rim opens slightly outward, providing a pleasant feel on the lips and making the tea comfortable and easy to drink.

This is a vessel that allows you to fully appreciate the variations in the Oribe glaze and the distinctive handmade character of earthenware.

美浓烧織部釉削刻手工制作茶杯
