讃岐塗から木製くりぬきのミニ長角盆の

ご紹介です。

栃の木をくりぬいて作られた長角膳です。

ちょうど、お茶とお菓子を一緒に出したり

珈琲とケーキを一緒に出すのに最適な

コンパクトな長角盆です。

お茶菓子を長角盆にのせたままプレートと

してそのまま出せるので、こぼしたりしても

机が汚れず一度に出せて、一度に引けるので

人数が少なくても、効率も大変よく給仕する

ことが出来ます。

縁が若干上がっているので、持ち運ぶ際も、

盆の上の器が滑ってずり落ちないように

なっています。

その縁の部分は、彫りが斜めに細かく

入れられて装飾されており素朴ながら、

盆の表面は、くりぬきですがノミ彫りで

We are pleased to introduce this small rectangular serving tray, carved from solid wood and finished in the Sanuki lacquerware tradition.

This rectangular tray is carved from Japanese horse chestnut wood.

Its compact size makes it ideal for serving tea and sweets together, or coffee and cake on the same tray.

Since the sweets can be served directly on the tray, there is no need to transfer them to a separate plate. Even if something spills, the table is less likely to become dirty. Everything can be served at once and cleared away in one go, making serving highly efficient even when attending to only a small number of guests.

The edges are slightly raised to help prevent cups, dishes, and other items from sliding off when the tray is carried.

The edges are decorated with fine, diagonal carved lines. Although the design has a simple, rustic appearance, considerable care has gone into the detailing, giving the tray an attractive and refined finish.

Although the tray is carved from a single piece of wood, its surface is deliberately finished flat rather than decorated with chisel marks. This creates a simple, practical design that is easy to use in everyday life.
