信楽焼から手づくりの花器（花瓶）の
ご紹介です。
信楽の粗めの白土を使い、ろくろ挽きで
成形して作られています。
全体にろくろ目が残っており、所々に
小さな石が混ざっているのが分かります。
釉薬を掛けずに焼かれているので、
表面はざらっとしていて土物の味わいがある
素朴なものになっています。
目立つ柄はなく、上部に表面を削って
柄が作られています。
白い土を使っていますが、焼いたことで
赤みを帯びた自然な色が所々に現れ、
不規則で変化のある表情をもっています。
縦長の花瓶ですが、緩やかな丸みを
帯びており、口は締まっているので
花が活けやすくなっています。
茶色で無地の風合いは茎の緑とよく合い、
花を引き立ててくれる花器といえます。

Shigaraki Ware – Handmade Unglazed Reddish-Brown Flower Vase
We are pleased to introduce this handmade flower vase from Shigaraki ware.
It is made using a coarse white clay from Shigaraki and shaped on a potter’s wheel.
Wheel-throwing marks remain visible across the surface, and small stones can be seen embedded in the clay in places.
The vase is fired without a glaze, giving its surface a rough texture and a rustic, earthy character that highlights the natural appeal of the clay.
There are no prominent decorative patterns. Instead, a design has been created by scraping away the surface of the upper portion of the vase.
Although white clay is used, firing brings out natural reddish hues in certain areas, creating an irregular, varied appearance with a distinctive character.
The vase is tall and slender, with gently rounded contours and a relatively narrow opening, making it easy to arrange flowers.
Its plain brown appearance and natural texture complement the green of flower stems, making this a flower vase that beautifully enhances the flowers arranged in it.

器身整体保留了拉坯时留下的旋纹，部分位置还可以看到混杂在陶土中的细小石粒。
由于烧制时没有施加釉料，因此器物表面呈现出粗糙的质感，具有陶土器特有的韵味，整体风格质朴自然。
器身没有醒目的装饰纹样，仅在上部通过刮削表面制作出装饰图案。
虽然采用白色陶土制作，但经过烧制后，部分区域自然呈现出泛红的色泽，形成不规则且富于变化的表情。
这款花瓶整体呈纵长造型，器身带有柔和的圆润曲线，瓶口则略微收紧，因此便于插花与固定花枝。
沉稳的棕色与素雅无纹的质感，能够与花茎的绿色自然相衬，衬托出花朵本身的美感，是一款适合插花的雅致花器。
