有田焼から正角の盛皿のご紹介です。

小石が混じった茶系の土に黒褐色の釉薬が掛けられた

渋い色合いの盛皿です。

土に混じった小さな石は釉薬の上からでも確認でき、荒々しい雰囲気を

出しています。

表面は一見して、無釉のように感じますが釉薬が掛けられ、一定の色だけではなく

金や銀色が混じっているように見える複雑な変化をしています。

本来の焼物の奥深さを感じられる、味わい深い風合いに仕上がっています。

器自体が渋いので、そこに盛るお料理や菓子などをぐっと引き立ててくれます。

Arita Ware – Genyū Glaze

This is an introduction to a square serving plate from Arita ware.

The plate is finished in a subdued tone, with a blackish-brown glaze applied over brown clay that contains small pebbles.

The small stones mixed into the clay are visible even through the glaze, creating a rugged, earthy atmosphere.

At first glance the surface may appear unglazed, but it is in fact glazed, showing complex variations rather than a single uniform color, with hints that resemble gold and silver tones.
