水指の下半分は染付山水、上半分は豪華な朱の上に金蘭の唐草模様があしらわれた

Mino Ware – Mizusashi (Fresh Water Jar) with “Sometsuke Sansui” and “Shu Kinran” Decoration

We are pleased to introduce a Mino ware mizusashi featuring Sometsuke Sansui (blue-and-white landscape painting) and Shu Kinran (vermilion with gilded arabesque patterns).

This mizusashi is crafted using transfer and stamping techniques, allowing it to retain a luxurious and opulent appearance while keeping the price comparatively reasonable.

The lower half of the piece is adorned with Sometsuke landscape motifs, while the upper half features a brilliant vermilion ground richly embellished with Kinran arabesques, resulting in a striking and festive design.

The composed elegance of the Sometsuke section and the magnificence of the Shu Kinran decoration complement and enhance one another beautifully.
The colors stand out vividly on the porcelain body, achieving a well-balanced and refined color scheme.

Areas of unpainted white porcelain also remain, creating an intentional sense of openness that further contributes to a feeling of sophistication and high quality.
