飛騨春慶塗から木製の花器のご紹介です。

平たく薄い木の板をくるっと曲げて筒状にして作られた花器です。

木の板を熱湯で曲げ成形し、うるしを塗って仕上げた珍しい花器です。

とんがった先が特徴で上も空いていますが、下も空いているので

水と花を入れる陶器製の落としが付いています。

花器を置く小ぶりな花台も付いています。

花器自体が大きくないので、比較的小さなスペースに置くことが出来ます。

和風でありながら斬新なデザインは現代の洋風建築にもマッチしそうです。

ジャパニーズモダンは様々な場所にも溶け込んで、しっとりとした漆器の良さも

表現してくれそうです。

Hida Shunkei Lacquerware – Wooden Bent Flower Vase – Urushi Lacquer – With Flower Stand

We are pleased to introduce a wooden flower vase from Hida Shunkei lacquerware.

This vase is made by bending a flat, thin wooden board into a cylindrical shape.
The wood is softened and shaped in boiling water and then finished with urushi lacquer, making it a rare and distinctive type of flower vase.

Its pointed top is characteristic, and because both the top and bottom are open, it comes with a ceramic otoshi (inner water container) for holding water and flowers.

A small flower stand is also included.

Because the vase itself is not very large, it can be displayed even in relatively compact spaces.
Although traditional in its Japanese expression, its innovative form allows it to harmonize well with modern Western-style interiors.

The Japanese-modern aesthetic will blend naturally into various environments while conveying the refined beauty of lacquerware.
